Updates to Billing Organisations for bill payments

 

From 29 November 2026, American Express and Standard Chartered will no longer be listed as Billing Organisations for bill payments on SC Mobile and Online Banking.

Any recurring scheduled payment instructions linked to these Billing Organisations above will also be permanently deleted.

Please make the necessary arrangements via the alternative payment options below to avoid any disruption to future payments.

Payment options

American Express
  • SC Mobile: Select "Scan & Pay1" and scan the QR code on your American Express credit card statement.
  • GIRO: Set up an Interbank GIRO arrangement with American Express.
  • AXS: Pay through AXS e-Station, AXS m-Station app or AXS Stations islandwide.

1 PayNow QR payments are limited to SGD 50,000 per transaction or your Daily Transfer Limit, whichever is lower. You will need to split larger payments into separate transactions.

 

Standard Chartered Cards
  • SC Mobile or Online Banking: Select "Pay All Credit Cards2" to pay your Standard Chartered credit cards(s)
  • GIRO: Set up a GIRO arrangement from your Standard Chartered bank account using SC Mobile.
  • AXS: Pay through AXS e-Station, AXS m-Station app or AXS Stations islandwide.

2 Only Standard Chartered credit cards in your name can be paid using "Pay All Credit Cards".

1.     When will this change take effect?
The change will take effect on 29 November 2026.

 

2.     What will happen to my saved billers and recurring payment instructions?
Any American Express and Standard Chartered Cards billers saved under your profile will be permanently removed on 29 November 2026. Any recurring scheduled payment instructions linked to them will also be permanently deleted.

 

3.     Do I need to take any action?
If you use the "Pay Bills" service to make payments to your American Express or Standard Chartered credit card(s), please arrange for payments via the alternative options before 29 November 2026 to avoid disruption to future payments. No action is required if you do not use these.

 

4.     How can I pay my American Express / Standard Chartered credit card bill after 29 November 2026?
You can refer to the table above for the available alternative payment options.

To set up a GIRO arrangement for payment to your Standard Chartered card:

  • Log in to SC Mobile
  • Select “Services”
  • Select “I need help with another request”.
  • In the request description, provide your full Standard Chartered credit card number and the Standard Chartered account number to be debited for the GIRO arrangement request.

 

5.     Will other Billing Organisations for bill payments be affected?
No. This change applies only to American Express and Standard Chartered Cards.
