Notice on legal tender status of 20 and 50 paper banknotes

The Bank of England will be withdrawing legal tender status of paper 20 and 50 banknotes after 30 September 2022.

All Standard Chartered Bank branches shall stop accepting deposits of paper 20 and 50 banknotes with effect from 15 September 2022.
