Required Documents for Family Remittance File

  • Copy of latest work permit/BIDA Approval
  • Copy of TIN or TAX Clearance Certificate
  • Copy of appointment letter Copy of valid passport (– containing necessary ID information) and visa copy
  • Duly filled and signed Bangladesh Bank’s prescribed form: Form-5/81 of GFET (with signatures and organisation stamp)

Once family remittance file is open

Following forms need be submitted for each remittance:

  • OTT application form (by filling all necessary information along with signature)
    TM form (by filling all necessary information along with signature)
  • Bank may ask for additional documents (e.g. salary slip) if there is certain level of variation in the monthly salary credit to the account
  • You can opt to provide us a Standing Instruction for a certain monthly remittance amount (to cover your regular transactions)
