      Important Changes to Credit Card Terms

      What’s New?

      We are making changes to the Credit Card Terms to:

      1. clarify that a “month” for the purposes of “Part H – Spree Credit Card Terms” of the Credit Card Terms means the period from the statement date of the current calendar month to one day prior to the statement date of the following calendar month; and
      2. notify you that if a month begins on a date falling on or after 12 July 2021, the maximum amount of Spree Cashback (as defined at “Part H – Spree Credit Card Terms” of the Credit Card Terms) awarded for such a month is capped at S$30 per Spree Credit Card account.

      These changes will take effect on 12 July 2021 (inclusive of this date).

      Further details are set out below.

      Credit Card Terms

      A summary of the changes to the Credit Card Terms is set out below:

      • The word “calendar” will be added to Clause 62 which is found at “Part H – Spree Credit Card Terms” of the Credit Card Terms, such that this clause will read as follows:
      1. For the purposes of this Part H, “month” means the period from the statement date of the current calendar month to one day prior to the statement date of the following calendar month.
      • Clause 61 which is found at “Part H – Spree Credit Card Terms” of the Credit Card Terms will be amended and will read as follows: 

      Maximum Spree Cashback

      1. The maximum Spree Cashback awarded for any month is capped at S$60 per Spree Card account except that for a month which begins on a date falling on or after 12 July 2021, the maximum amount of Spree Cashback awarded for such a month is capped at S$30 per Spree Card account.

      As we think that it is important that you understand your rights and obligations under the banking agreement, we urge you to read the updated Credit Card Terms, which will be effective from 12 July 2021 (inclusive of this date), and which can be found in full here.
