Credit Card Funds Transfer Disbursement Terms and Conditions

  1. Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”)’s Credit Card Funds Transfer Disbursement Terms and Conditions is applicable if an applicant makes an application for a Credit Card Funds Transfer (“Application“), successfully submits a completed Application to the Bank and the Bank approves such an Application.
  2. The transfer of funds to the applicant’s designated Standard Chartered Current/Cheque & Save Account(s) or non-Standard Chartered Current or Savings Account or non-Standard Chartered Credit Card Account (each account a “Designated Account”) is subject to:
    1. the applicant successfully submitting a completed Application to the Bank; and
    2. the Bank approving the Application, which must satisfy the Bank’s eligibility criteria, including our credit and risk management policies, as well as prevailing laws and regulations. The Bank reserves the right to reject any Application which does not fulfil our criteria at our discretion.
  3. The transfer of funds to an applicant’s Designated Account (“Funds Disbursement”) will be done instantly(“Instant Disbursement“) upon the Bank’s approval of the Application if
    1. the applicant’s Designated Account is a Standard Chartered Current/Cheque & Save Account(s); and
    2. the Application is via sc.com/sg/ccft.
  4. The Funds Disbursement will be completed within 15 minutes of the Bank’s approval of the Application, subject to scheduled maintenance of Fast And Secure Transfers (“FAST”) (details on FAST can be found here) if:
    1. the applicant’s designated account is a non-Standard Chartered Current or Savings Account (“Non-SC CASA”) or non-Standard Chartered Credit Card Account (“Non-SC Credit Card Account”);
    2. the Application is via sc.com/sg/ccft; and
    3. the amount of funds for Funds Disbursement is S$200,000 and less.
  5. The Funds Disbursement will be completed the next working day from the Application approval date and the Next Day Cash Terms and Conditions will apply if:
    1. the Bank needs to contact the applicant for additional information/confirmation to complete the Application; and
    2. either the amount of funds for Funds Disbursement is:
      1. S$1,000 and above and is transferred to a non-FAST participating bank or Non-SC CASA; or
      2. above S$200,000 and is transferred to a Non-SC CASA or Non-SC Credit Card Account.

If the Bank is unable to process the Application or Funds Disbursement due to system failure, system outage, malfunction, delay or any other circumstances whatsoever, whether within our reasonable control or otherwise, the Bank is not able to provide Funds Disbursement within the above-stated time periods (as set out in clauses 3 to 5), and the Bank disclaims all liability arising for any such delay including any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to/incurred by you the applicant, or any third party arising from or in connection therewith.

  1. The Bank may vary, modify, add, delete or otherwise revise any of these terms and conditions governing the Instant Disbursement or to terminate, withdraw or suspend the service at any time at the Bank’s sole discretion, with or without prior notice or reason.
  2. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the service, including your eligibility for the service. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this service shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained.
  3. Standard Chartered is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or any telecommunication provider. The Bank is not an agent of any merchant or service provider or vice versa.
  4. Standard Chartered makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the goods and services bought and accepts no liability for the services provided by any merchant or service provider. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the merchant or service provider.
  5. These Credit Card Funds Transfer Disbursement Terms and Conditions (“these terms”) are to be read in conjunction with the Bank’s Customer Terms, the Current / Cheque / Savings Account and Time Deposit Terms, the Personal Loan / Personal Line of Credit / Overdraft Terms, the Credit Card Terms, the Credit Card Funds Transfer Product Terms (as the case may be) (the “Other Terms”) and Credit Card Funds Transfer Applicable Fees and Charges.
  6. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
  7. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Bank, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bank and members of the Bank’s group shall have no liability in respect of, and will be indemnified from and against, any liability, loss, claim, damage or costs of any kind (including legal costs) to any person or entity, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, whether by reason of the acceptance, use or misuse of the Funds Disbursement.
  8. A person who is not a party to the Credit Card Funds Transfer Disbursement Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of the Promotion Terms and Conditions.
  9. Credit Card Funds Transfer Disbursement Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
