How it works

From now till 25th October 2020, simply be one of the first 100,000 to register for the Stay Home, Spin and Win 2020 Promotion, and perform a Qualifying Activity from the list below to start accumulating your digital score.

Stay Home, Spin and Win 2020 Promotion FAQ

The Promotion is valid from 29th May 2020 to 2nd July 2020 (both dates inclusive).

To be eligible for the Promotion, you must send an SMS to 77222 in the following format:

 

“SC8-digit Mobile Number “

 

(Example: SC 88888888)

 

You must ensure that the correct mobile number is submitted in the above SMS Registration. If you are an existing customer of the Bank at the time of submitting the SMS Registration, the mobile number submitted must match the mobile number in the Bank’s records.

 

If you are not a customer of the Bank at the time of submitting the SMS Registration, you can still successfully register for the Promotion. Please ensure that you provide the same mobile number (which you have used for SMS Registration) to the Bank (if requested by the Bank) when you perform a Qualifying Activity.

 

If you fail to comply with the abovementioned, you will be disqualified for the purposes of the Promotion, notwithstanding the fact that you might have received the Acknowledgement SMS.

Participants are required to complete any of the following Qualifying Activities and will be rewarded with the corresponding Digital Score.

Each of the first 14,300 Qualifying Activities will be randomly assigned a unique URL sent via SMS (“Winning Transaction SMS”) to the relevant Participants.

Each Participant’s Digital Score is updated at 11.59 pm on every Thursday of each week of the Promotion Period. Participants will receive a Winning Transaction SMS the following week informing them of their updated Digital Score, along with a link to play the Stay Home Digital Game.

Do note each Participant will only be awarded a Digital Score a maximum of once for each Qualifying Activity type every week (i.e. Friday to Thursday) during the Promotion Period. For example, if you had done a remittance through SC Remit twice in a week, you will only be rewarded 5 points once for this category in the relevant week.

Each Participant must also complete at least one Qualifying Activity in the relevant week and must have increased his/her Digital Score in that week.

As an illustration, please also note that:

Earning a higher Digital Score qualifies Participants to stand a chance to win GrabFood vouchers of higher value as detailed in the table below.

Participants are entitled to play the Stay Home Digital Game a maximum of once per week.

Participants are required to increase their Digital Score in the following week, i.e. there must be another Qualifying Activity done in the following week.

An additional Winning Transaction SMS with a unique link will be sent to you.

Yes. For example, if a Participant has accumulated 10 points in Week 1 of the Promotion Period, completing an additional 10 points worth of Qualifying Activities in Week 2 will result in a total Digital Score of 20. The Participant will then be entitled to Gold-level prizes.

No, for the purposes of calculating the Digital Score, each Qualifying Activity can only be completed once within the same week.

 

For example, Participants who complete 3 SC Remit transactions within the same week will only be awarded a total Digital Score of 5 points. Participants that complete SC Remit transaction once in week 1 and once in week 2 will be awarded a total of 10 points.

GrabFood vouchers won will be sent to a Participant’s registered email with the Bank.

Deposit Insurance Scheme

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$75,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
