Debt Restructuring Plan (DRP)

Please take some time to fill in the Application, Income and Expense forms below and fill in as much information as possible so to allow us to better understand your situation.

  

Please read through the following documents as well before you fill in the above forms.

  

Key features of this restructuring plan:

  • Tenure up to 5 years
  • Effective interest rate at 9% p.a.
  • No early repayment penalty
  • Unsecured facilities will be cancelled and converted to a lower instalment plan
  • Credit Bureau will be reported as Restructured

  

Please provide the following documents for our verification purposes:

  • Copy of NRIC (front and back)
  • Expenses Proof (Housing, Utilities Bill or Medical)
  • Approved DRP Agreement or Contract from other Creditors (if any)

  

For Salaried Applicants:

  • Latest 3 months payroll slips OR
  • Latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment (NOA) OR
  • Latest 6 months Central Provident Fund (CPF) contribution OR
  • Latest 3 months Incentive or Commission Pay Out Statement OR
  • Latest 3 months bank statement showing consistent credit
  • Letter of Employment or Confirmation from employer stating salary/allowances is mandatory if service of employment is less than 6 months.

  

For Self-Employed Applicants:

  • Latest NOA OR
  • VAT or GST declaration OR
  • Business registration (Proprietorship / Partnership)
  • Any other documentary evidence to support

  • Our dedicated Debt Restructuring Specialist will provide you with the right solution within 7 business days if all the required documents are provided.

  • Maximum tenure is 5 years.

  • No, there are no administrative fees for processing the application as the Bank understands the difficulty you are facing.

  • No, all unsecured credit facilities will be cancelled and can no longer be utilised.

  • Your Credit Bureau report will indicate “Restructured”, which may affect your future lending application(s).

  • Upon approval of Debt Restructuring Programme, an offer letter will be sent to your registered mailing address within 7 business days.

  • If you decide to make a full settlement on the outstanding amount before your tenure is up, you will save on future interest accrued.

  • We encourage you to submit a new application for the latest available product with the newest features and benefits.

Debt Management Programme (DMP)

The Debt Management Programme (DMP) is a debt repayment arrangement for borrowers who are in genuine financial distress and is facilitated by the Credit Counselling Singapore (CCS). The CCS is an independent, non-profit organisation that addresses individual unsecured debt problems through education, credit counselling and facilitated debt restructuring since 2004.
