Amendments to Mortgage Facility Terms – Effective 8 May 2026

We are making changes to the Mortgage Facility Terms to clarify the clauses related to fire insurance.

The changes will take effect on 8 May 2026 (“Effective Date”).

A summary of the changes to the Mortgage Facility Terms is set out below:

Clauses 19.1 You must ensure that the property is insured for the risks we specify. The sum insured:

  • For properties governed by the Land Titles (Strata) Act 1967, the sum insured must always be at least equal to the reinstatement value or outstanding balance on the mortgage facility, whichever is lower.
  • For properties not governed by the Land Titles (Strata) Act 1967, the sum insured must be at least equal to the reinstatement value.
