Information on Digital Transactions for Sole Proprietorship

Dear Clients,

We have enhanced our real-time fraud surveillance to better safeguard your money against scams for your business account.

As a result, some of your digital transactions made via SC Mobile or Online Banking that appear to be unusual will be temporarily placed on hold to protect you against unauthorized transfers or withdrawals. We seek your understanding that your transactions may be delayed as a result of these measures.

How does it impact you

  • We will notify you via Push Notifications on SC Mobile when your transaction is temporarily placed on hold. Look out for the transaction notification alert sent to your SC Mobile Notification Inbox or Email.
  • If you recognise the transaction, no action is needed from you. The transaction will be processed after 24 hours, and we will notify you once it’s completed.
  • If you did not make the transaction, please report it to us immediately at +65 6747 7000.

What you need to take note of

  • Ensure that your SC Mobile is updated to the latest version and update your contact details to receive timely transaction notifications.
  • Enable banking alert notifications on SC Mobile so you do not miss any alerts.
  • Factor in potential delays and plan your digital transactions according to your needs.
  • Stay vigilant and protect your funds from scams and unauthorised transfers or withdrawals with Standard Chartered Money Lock.

FAQ

Can I continue to make more digital transactions after my earlier transaction is being temporarily put on hold?

For your protection, any new digital transactions may be rejected for the next 24 hours until your earlier transactions has been processed. Kindly refrain form submitting duplicate transaction request.
