Replacement of Standard Chartered X Credit Card to Journey Credit Card FAQs

As part of the X Credit Card rebrand to Journey Credit Card in May 2023, cardholders who are still holding on to the X Credit Card will receive a replacement card by June 2025. The new Journey Credit Card retains all the same benefits as the X Credit Card. Simply log in to SC Mobile for a hassle-free activation.

  1. Why am I receiving a new Journey Card?

The X Card was rebranded to the Journey Card in May 2023. Since then, all cardholders who have replaced or renewed their cards would have automatically received the new Journey Card. Since your card has not been replaced yet, you will receive the new card by June 2025.

  1. Will there be any changes to the card benefit?

Your new Journey Card retains all the same benefits and privileges you currently enjoy on your X Card.

  1. What do I need to do when I receive the new card?

You would need to activate the new card to start using it. Simply log in to SC Mobile for a hassle-free activation.

  1. Can I choose to continue using the X Card?

You may continue using your X Card until the expiry date. Upon expiry, your card will be renewed to the Journey Card.

  1. Will the new card have a different card number?

The new Journey Card will have the same 16-digit card number as your current X Card.

  1. Will my supplementary X Card be replaced as well?

Your supplementary cards will be replaced together with the principal credit card.
