      Credit Card Credit Limit Review with Cashback Promotion Terms and Conditions (CLR20A)

      1. This Credit Card Credit Limit Review with Cashback Promotion (CLR20A) (the “Promotion”) is available from 17 September to 17 October 2018 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period“), unless otherwise extended or otherwise terminated in accordance with these terms and conditions. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

      Eligibility

      1. The Promotion is exclusive to the Standard Chartered principal cardholder who has received an Electronic Direct Mailer and/or SMS (“Communication”) from Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Bank”) about this Promotion and this terms and conditions (“Selected Cardholder”). To qualify for this Promotion and receive the Cashback (defined in Clause 3):
        1. the Selected Cardholder must apply for the Credit Card Credit Limit Review with the Bank (the “Application”);
        2. the Bank must receive the Application, along with latest income documents as well as other documents as the Bank may require, within the Promotion Period;
        3. the Application must be approved by the Bank, where such approval is final and unconditional;
        4. Your latest income documents must reflect a change in your prevailing annual income as compared to the latest income documents which are currently in the Bank’s records.
        5. At least one of the Selected Cardholder’s principal card account(s) must, within six (6) months of the Application approval date, be valid (i.e. the card account must not be suspended, cancelled and/or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.
      1. Subject to these terms, if you satisfy all the eligibility criteria set out in Clause 2 above, you will be eligible to receive S$20 cashback (“Cashback”)
        The Cashback is capped at S$20 per Selected Cardholder and will be credited into your valid principal credit card account by 31 December 2018.
      1. The Cashback is not transferable, assignable or exchangeable for cash or any other items.
      1. The Bank will review and determine, at its sole discretion, your eligibility for adjustment of credit limit based on the latest income document(s) you submitted to the Bank, and subject to the prevailing regulatory requirements and guidelines.

      By submitting an Application, you understand and agree to Clauses 6 to 11 below:

      1. The combined credit limit of all your unsecured credit facilities with the Bank including your credit card(s), will be subject to the maximum limit allowable under prevailing regulatory requirements and guidelines, or up to S$250,000, whichever is lower.
      1. The revised credit limit will apply to and is shared among all your principal credit card account(s) with the Bank and all corresponding supplementary credit card(s) authorised by you, except your (if any) secured credit card(s), credit card(s) with S$500 limit, and corporate card(s).
      1. If your latest income document(s) reflect that your prevailing annual income is of a lower amount than that which is currently in the Bank’s records, the current credit limit(s) applicable to all your unsecured credit facilities, and all corresponding supplementary credit card(s) authorized by you, will be reduced accordingly.
      1. Where applicable, the Bank will update its records based on the information you have given in connection with the Application.
      1. The approved credit limit will be the lowest of:

      (a) the specific preferred credit limit the Selected Cardholder indicated in the Application;

      (b) the maximum credit limit allowable under prevailing regulations; and

      (c) such other credit limit as determined by the Bank.

      1. If you have authorised the issue of supplementary credit card(s), the Bank may also require such supplementary cardholder(s) to indicate their preferred credit limit(s) for their supplementary card(s) before determining the approved credit limit since the approved credit limit is an overall credit limit that will also apply to such existing supplementary card(s). You agree that the Bank may contact or may require Selected Cardholder to contact such supplementary cardholder(s) for this purpose.

      General

      1. Unless otherwise stated, this Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges or promotions. This Promotion is valid in conjunction with the Bank’s Credit Cards Sign-up Promotion (the terms and conditions of which can be found here) and The Good Life® 2018 Promotion (the individual merchant and general terms and conditions of which can be found here).
      1. The Bank reserves the right to do any of the following without prior notice:
        1. terminate, withdraw, shorten or extend this Promotion at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion, with or without prior notice or reason; and/or
        2. vary, modify, add or delete any of the terms of the Promotion.

      You agree and consent to be bound by any such variation.

      1. In the event the Bank has determined that an Eligible Cardholder is not eligible to receive the Cashback or to participate in this Promotion, or where the Bank has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that the Eligible Cardholder would not have been entitled to redeem the Cashback, the Bank reserves the right to claw back the Cashback or to deduct its value (or such other amount as it deems fit) from the Cardholder’s account(s) with the Bank which the Cashback has been credited to under this Promotion.
      1. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Bank, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bank accepts no liability for the goods and services provided by any merchant or service provider. In case of any disputes, the decision of the Bank and the respective merchants shall be final.
      1. In the event of any inconsistency between the Promotion Terms and Conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
      1. The Promotion Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with our Customer Terms, Credit Card Terms and any other specific Product Terms that may be relevant in connection with this Promotion (“Other Terms“). In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
      1. The Bank is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or any telecommunication provider.
      1. The Bank makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the goods and services bought and accepts no liability for the services provided by any merchant or service provider. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the merchant or service provider.
      1. The Bank is not an agent of any merchant or service provider, or vice versa.
      1. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, including your eligibility for this Promotion and/or to receive Cashback under this Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
      1. By applying for Credit Card Credit Limit Review pursuant to this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of your telephone number to contact you about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or multimedia messaging. Such consent will supersede any prior choices made by you. Such consent will also prevail even if you are registered or subsequently register your contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.
      1. A person who is not a party to the Promotion Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of the Promotion Terms and Conditions.
      2. The Promotion Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
