Promotion Mechanics

  1. For purposes of the Promotion, “Qualifying Transactions” are retail transactions that:
    1. have a transaction date falling within the Promotion Period;
    2. have been successfully posted to the Registered Card account during the Promotion Period; and
    3. are not excluded transactions (as set out at Clause 22 below).
  1. To qualify for the cashback (“Cashback”) under the Promotion, the Registered Cardholder must, during the Promotion Period, meet at least one of the respective spend amount(s) in Qualifying Transactions (“Spend Amounts”) as set out in the table below, aggregated across his/her Registered Card(s). There are a total of three (3) Tiers, each with a corresponding Cashback Amount to be awarded:
Tier Cashback Amount Spend Amount Number of Qualifiers
1

S$30 Cashback

S$2,500-$6,999.99 1st 8,000 Registered Cardholders
2

S$120 Cashback

S$7,000-$14,999.99 1st 4,000 Registered Cardholders
3

S$250 Cashback

S$15,000 and above 1st 1,000 Registered Cardholders
  1. When a Registered Cardholder transacts a Qualifying Transaction that causes him/her to cross into any of the 3 Tiers, a real-time Push Notification (“Milestone Push Notification”) will be sent to notify him/her of his/her spends progress in the Promotion. For the avoidance of doubt, the spends information found in a Milestone Push Notification is estimated based on authorised transactions and the final Spend Amount may change if there are reversals or refunds made on the Registered Card. The Bank shall not be responsible for notifying a Registered Cardholder if the final Spend Amount is different than as communicated in a Milestone Push Notification.
  1. Subject to clause 15 below, if a Registered Cardholder satisfies the conditions in clause 12 above, and is within the allocated number of qualifiers for any Tier (as determined by the transaction date and time of the Qualifying Transaction which causes the Registered Cardholder to cross into that Tier), then he/she will be entitled to the corresponding Cashback Amount.
  1. For the avoidance of doubt, a Registered Cardholder may only receive one (1) of the 3 Cashback Amounts. The maximum amount of Cashback that can be awarded to each Registered Cardholder pursuant to the Promotion is capped at S$250.
  1. Registered Cardholders who are entitled to receive any of the Cashbacks will be notified by Push Notification by no later than 28 February 2022. Cashback will be credited by 28 February 2022 to the Registered Cardholder’s Registered Card account with the highest cumulative spend in Qualifying Transactions during the Promotion Period, or such Registered Card account of the Registered Cardholder as the Bank may decide in its sole and absolute discretion (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).
