1 The Effective Interest Rate (EIR) calculation of from 1.75% p.a. is based on a 5-year tenure. The calculation is not yet inclusive of the first-year annual fee of S$199 or any cashback that may be received. Taking into consideration the first-year annual fee of S$199, the EIR will be 2.15% p.a. for an average loan amount of S$20,000 at a 5-year tenure. The applied interest rate of 0.90% p.a. is our lowest rate. The interest rate offered to you in your application will be based on your credit profile as determined by us.
2 The transfer of funds is subject to approval of the application which must satisfy the Bank's eligibility criteria. Terms and Conditions apply.

Frequently asked questions
I am a foreigner in Singapore, can I take a CashOne Personal Loan?
Yes. Eligibility for foreigners: age 21 years and above, minimum annual income of S$90,000, and you must hold a Singapore Employment Pass.
What documents are required to apply for CashOne Personal Loan?
No documents are required if you're a SingPass holder applying via MyInfo, or an existing SC credit cardholder with no recent change in income/employment. All other applicants — salaried, commission-based, self-employed, or existing cardholders with a change in income — should refer to the Eligibility & Documents section above.
Will taking a CashOne Personal Loan affect my existing credit card limit?
Yes, if you're an existing SC principal credit cardholder — CashOne is drawn down as a Credit Card Instalment Loan against your existing credit limit, which frees up again as you repay the instalment loan.
Will taking a personal loan affect my credit score?
Yes. Timely payments can improve your score, while missed payments or a high debt load could negatively impact it.
How quickly can I get funds from CashOne Personal Loan?
Applying via MyInfo can mean instant approval. Funds disbursed to an existing SC Current/Cheque & Save Account are received instantly upon approval; to a non-SC account, typically within 15 minutes, subject to FAST participation and approval cut-off times. CashOne Instant Disbursement and Next Day Cash Terms and Conditions apply.
Why is the approved loan amount lower than my requested loan amount?
The approved amount is subject to the Bank's review. Existing SC credit cardholders are capped at 98% of their available credit card limit; new customers may be issued a Platinum Visa Credit Card if their annual income is above S$30,000.
I did not provide consent for a different loan amount to be transferred to my account, why was it disbursed?
Following our review, the approved loan amount — which may differ from your requested amount — is directly disbursed to the designated account stated in your application.
Where can I check the interest rate and repayment amount of CashOne Personal Loan?
You'll see your interest rate and repayment amount within the application journey, or you can estimate it using the loan calculator above. Your actual rate is subject to your credit profile as determined during application.
Why is my actual interest rate different from the illustrative rate shown in the calculator?
The rate shown in your online application is based on your individual credit profile, so it may differ from the illustrative rate shown above and from rates shown to other borrowers.
Why is the Applied Rate (AR) different from the Effective Interest Rate (EIR)?
The AR assumes the loan principal stays constant across the tenure. The EIR reflects the true cost of borrowing as your principal declines over time, and also factors in the first-year annual fee of S$199 — so it is always higher than the AR.
Is there an annual fee charged for CashOne Personal Loan and how do the charges apply?
Yes. A first-year annual fee of S$199 is deducted from your approved loan amount. From the second year onwards, until the expiry of the instalment tenure, S$50 is charged annually only if instalments were not paid in full by their due dates for the preceding 12 consecutive calendar months.
How do I calculate the total interest charged on my CashOne Personal Loan?
Interest is calculated using the "front-end add-on" method — principal loan amount × approved applied rate × full tenure. While your monthly instalment stays constant, the interest portion is highest at the start of the loan and decreases gradually over the tenure.
What repayment tenures can I choose?
CashOne Personal Loan offers a flexible repayment tenure from 1 to 5 years. Tenures of 3, 4, or 5 years qualify for the latest cashback promotion.
What are the late monthly repayment penalties?
A flat late payment fee of S$100 applies for every late month, plus additional interest on the full outstanding balance calculated daily at the minimum EIR of 29.9% p.a. (0.082% per day) for as long as the payment remains overdue.
How can I be eligible for minimum monthly repayments without incurring late penalty charges?
You can switch to minimum payments after paying your full monthly instalment consecutively for 6 months. The minimum payment due is the greater of S$50 or 1% of the approved monthly principal instalment amount, plus interest, fees and charges, and any overlimit or past-due amounts. Outstanding balances below S$50 must be repaid in full.
What repayment methods are available?
Online Banking, the SC Mobile app, AXS and ATM machines islandwide, any Standard Chartered branch, or GIRO for automatic monthly repayment.
If I want to change my instalment tenure, how much do I have to pay?
A S$50 charge is imposed every time you change your tenure, with each change subject to the Bank's approval.
Where can I find my outstanding loan amount?
On your monthly statement, or via the "Instalments Loan Summary" under eStatements in Online Banking or the SC Mobile app.
Will there be a fee if I choose to pay off my loan early?
Yes, an early redemption fee of S$150 or 3% of your outstanding principal, whichever is higher, applies.
Why was my CashOne Personal Loan tenure extended mid-way through my plan?
This happens if a minimum payment due is late or missed twice within a consecutive 6-month period — an additional 4% p.a. is added to your EIR from the next statement date, and your tenure is extended to keep your monthly instalment consistent. The additional interest is removed once minimum payments are made on time for 6 consecutive months.
How do I make a full settlement for my CashOne Personal Loan?
Submit a closure request via Online Banking or the SC Mobile app (Help & Services ? Account Management). An early redemption fee of S$150 or 3% of your outstanding principal, whichever is higher, applies.
