Cashback FAQ

Rewards Hub is your one stop platform to manage and maximise the rewards you earn with Standard Chartered Bank. It lets you track all your accumulated rewards, including Cashback, Rewards Points and vouchers, from various bank programmes and promotions over time.

You will also find opportunities to earn more through programmes like SC Shop and Earn, where you earn Cashback by shopping when you shop at our online merchants, and the SC Referral Club programme, which rewards you for referring family and friends.

Total Cashback is your earnings with Standard Chartered since 1 August 2025, and includes Cashback earned from:

  • SC Shop and Earn Cashback with “Confirmed” status
  • SC Referral Club
  • Transactions on your SC Credit or Debit Card(s)
  • Promotions and offers

Only Cashback earned from 1 August 2025 onward is included. Cashback earned before this date is not reflected in Rewards Hub.

Selected transactions set out in Standard Chartered Credit Card Retail Transaction Exclusions will not be considered as eligible Credit Card retail transactions and are not eligible to earn any Cashback.

Cashback earned on your credit card is automatically applied to reduce your current outstanding balance. This results in a lower statement balance in your next credit card statement.

Please note that Cashback earned on your credit card does not count as a payment to your credit card.

If you have a surplus balance due to Cashback received, you may either:

1) spend on your credit card, to draw down the surplus balance, or
2) request for a Credit Balance Refund via Services in SC Mobile.

Interest earned on your deposit account(s) is not reflected as Cashback.

360° Rewards Points FAQ

The transactions shown here is updated once daily whereas the 360 Rewards Points on the Rewards 360 Platform reflects the points in real time. As a result, there might be temporary differences in points especially if they are earned or redeemed within the same day. The points shown on Rewards Hub will be reconciled with the view on Rewards 360 Platform within next 3 working days.
You can view the expiry dates of your 360° Rewards Points by clicking on Redeem Rewards to visit the Rewards 360 portal.

Selected transactions set out in Standard Chartered Credit Card Retail Transaction Exclusions will not be considered as qualifying transactions and are not eligible to earn any 360° Rewards Points.

The differences in the transaction history listing between Rewards Hub and the 360° Rewards Redemption Platform can occur as Rewards Hub updates transactions once daily, while the 360° Rewards Redemption Platform updates in real-time on posted transaction. Vouchers FAQ

Different vouchers may need to be redeemed in different ways (e.g. click on the given link, or enter a given promo code, etc..).
We are enhancing this feature and it will be available shortly. Thank you for your patience as we prepare the improved version.
While the vouchers may still appear under the ‘Active’ section, they can only be redeemed once and cannot be used again. The ‘Active’ view currently reflects vouchers that are still valid and not expired.
Your voucher wallet contains vouchers earned from key bank programs such as product sign-up offers, credit card promotions, and others. However there may be vouchers from certain events (such as product promotion roadshows) that may not be visible in your voucher wallet yet.
We are gradually increasing the type of vouchers made visible to you in your voucher wallet.

There is no minimum spend required to earn your cashback from the SC Shop and Earn Programme unless specified in the Selected Merchant’s Terms and Conditions.

Merchant applied cashback maybe capped subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Selected Merchant.

Yes, simply make the purchase with any SC Credit or Debit Card using the merchant link redirected via SC Mobile Shop and Earn Programme in Rewards Hub.

You can continue to enjoy your SC Credit and Debit Card rewards, in addition to the Cashback earned from the Shop and Earn programme.

Terms and Conditions from your SC Credit Card and Debit Card still apply.

You are not eligible to earn the Cashback from the Shop and Earn programme if the transaction was made with a SC Debit Card that is linked to a foreign currency SC banking account. Shop and Earn Cashback can only be credited to a SC local currency (SGD) banking account.

Your Cashback amount is calculated based on your order value excluding taxes, shipping fees, and any promo codes used at checkout. The Cashback you earn varies by merchants and may differ based on product categories or ongoing promotions and merchant’s Terms and Conditions.

Your Cashback amount might differ from what you expected due to the following reasons:

– Your calculation was based on the full amount, including GST or delivery fees, which are not eligible for cashback.

– Transactions with Partial payments made with store credits, points of the merchant loyalty programme, partial gift card/vouchers, that may disqualify the entire transaction from the programme or lower the eligible Cashback as it may only apply to the Order value less store credits, loyalty points or vouchers utilised.

– Transactions made utilising a discount code, that may have disqualified the entire transaction from the programme or lower the eligible Cashback as it may only apply to the order value less the discount value.

– Transactions made under split payments or a Buy Now Pay Later programme that may exclude your eligibility for cashback depending on the merchants Terms and Conditions Programme

If you believe the amount is incorrect, please reach out to our customer service team via SC Chat with your order details. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Cashback is calculated based on actual Cashback rates and not the Cashback rates shown in our mobile banking app (which will be rounded to two (2) decimal places).  As a result of the rounding, the Cashback amount you may calculate on your own (based on the displayed Cashback rate) may differ slightly from the amount determined by us.

To illustrate:

a. An actual Cashback rate of [1.74999%] will be displayed as 1.75% on our mobile banking app.  However, because Cashback will be calculated based on the actual Cashback rate instead of the displayed rate, the Cashback amount you will earn on a [SGD200] transaction will be SGD3.49 instead of SGD3.50.

b. If the calculated Cashback amount for an Eligible Transaction is S$1.239, the Cashback amount for the transaction shall be displayed as S$1.23 on Rewards Hub and the amount payable to you once the Cashback has been “confirmed” shall likewise be S$1.23.

For eligible Cashback, it will show as “Pending” in your Rewards Hub within 72 hours of your transaction.

From “Pending” to confirmed cashback fulfilled to your account typically takes 30 to 120 days from the transaction date, depending on the merchant and the terms applicable to the transaction (such as fulfilment times, cancellation, return or refund periods etc). You will also receive a push notification when your Cashback is confirmed and credited.

Do note that some transactions may take a longer time to fulfill. For example, for travel, the Cashback transaction will only be processed by the merchant after the booking has been completed (i.e., you have completed your flight, hotel stay or car rental) even if the transaction has been made months in advance

If you still don’t see the Cashback on Rewards Hub after 120 days, the Cashback transaction may have been rejected for several reasons including transaction nature or your account status with SC.

Transaction nature:

– The transaction was made using vouchers or coupons that aren’t eligible for Cashback.

– The transaction was cancelled, changed or product was returned to merchant.

– The purchase was not completed using the merchant redirection link from SC Mobile Shop and Earn.

– Transaction was not made with an SC Credit or Debit Card.

SC account status:

– There is no valid debit/credit cards nor deposit accounts in good standing, thus the Cashback is taken to be forfeited

– No local currency account. Customer’s only deposit account is denominated in Foreign Currency and thus not eligible for Cashback.

Cashback amounts shall be computed at the individual transaction level up to two (2) decimal places without any rounding, and any digits beyond the second decimal place shall be disregarded. Accordingly, if, based on the tracking information made available to us for your Eligible Transaction, the pending Cashback amount for the transaction is calculated to be less than S$0.01, that transaction shall not be recorded or displayed as a transaction ”pending” Cashback, and no Cashback shall be credited in respect of that transaction, even if the Cashback amount would, after subsequent validation and order fulfilment by the relevant Selected Merchant, have increased to S$0.01 or more.

To illustrate:

If the calculated Cashback amount for an Eligible Transaction is S$0.009, the transaction shall not be tracked as “pending” Cashback and will accordingly not be visible on Rewards Hub. No Cashback shall be payable to you in respect of that transaction.

The statuses of the Cashback are as follows:

Pending: Purchase was successful and is pending merchant to complete the order and approve the Cashback.

Rejected: Cashback was declined, as the purchase may have been:

– made using vouchers or coupons that aren’t eligible for Cashback.

– cancelled, changed or product was returned to merchant.

– not completed using the merchant redirection link from SC Mobile Shop and Earn.

– not made with an SC Credit or Debit Card.

You will  receive a push notification with the last 4 digits of your crediting SC account once the Cashback is confirmed and credited to your SC banking account. Please check in Cashback details section in Rewards Hub.

Your SC banking  account must be valid (i.e. not suspended, cancelled or terminated) and in good standing at the time of crediting of cashback.

Priority clients enjoy a higher Cashback rate for most merchant categories. Visit the SC Shop and Earn platform on Rewards Hub for more information.

To qualify as a Priority client, you must maintain Asset Under Management (AUM) with the Bank of at least S$200,000. Apart from preferential cashback rates on the Shop and Earn programme, you can also enjoy:

For eligible Cashback, it will show up as “Pending” in your Rewards Hub within 72 hours of your transaction and you will receive a push notification to inform that the Cashback is tracked. The pending status indicates that the transaction is recorded but pending further validation and order fulfilment of your transaction (for example, order delivery and receipt in the case of retail purchases and/or completion of travel/stays in the case of travel related bookings).

From “Pending” to confirmed cashback fulfilled to your account typically takes 30 to 120 days from the transaction date, depending on the merchant and the terms applicable to the transaction (such as fulfilment times, cancellation, return or refund periods etc).  You will also receive a push notification when your Cashback is confirmed and credited.

Once approved by the merchant and the order is fulfilled, you will  receive a push notification with the last 4 digits of your crediting SC account once the Cashback is confirmed and credited to your SC banking account. Please check in Cashback details section in Rewards Hub.

Please refer to the merchant’s and Shop and Earn programme Terms and Conditions to ensure that the transaction is eligible for Cashback.

If you are a Priority Banking Client or a Priority Private Client , you will earn higher Cashback, if applicable. Please refer to individual merchant Cashback rates as it might differ for each merchant.

If you are a Priority Banking or Priority Private Client with Asset Under Management (AUM) with the Bank of at least S$200,000, you will enjoy higher Cashback, if applicable.
