CashBack is applicable if the average daily balance in the linked chequing account calculated at the end of each calendar month is SGD6,000 and above. CashBack is tiered and calculated at the end of each calendar month based on transaction posting date and the deposit amount in the chequing account and will be credited on the first working day of the next calendar month, to the relevant account. Monthly CashBack is subject to a cap, S$40 for MasterCard transactions at petrol stations and an overall cap of S$200 for an aggregation of all transactions per month.
Petrol CashBack applies only in Singapore and Malaysia where the petrol station accepts EMV compliant MasterCard cards and if the petrol station’s merchant category code is 5177, 5541 or 5542. Purchase of petrol includes all other purchases (besides petrol) at the petrol station.

CashBack is not applicable for bill payments made via SCB Online Banking from the XtraSaver Current Account, NETS transactions and top up of NETS cash card.

The Bank reserves the right to

a) debit any of your account with us for CashBack given to you if the transactions are cancelled, voided or reversed for any reason; and

b) revise interest rate at any time without prior notice.

Deposit Insurance Scheme

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$50,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
