Standard Chartered Beyond Credit Card Beyond A Million Miles Promotion Term and Conditions

  1. The Standard Chartered Beyond Credit Card Beyond A Million Miles Promotion (the “Promotion”), which consists of four (4) individual offers (as set out in Sections 1 to 4 below), is available from 1 September 2025 to 30 September 2025 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”). By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  1. Unless otherwise stated, the Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges, or promotions. The Promotion is valid in conjunction with The Good Life® Programme (the individual merchant and general terms and conditions of which can be found here).
  1. The rewards earned under this Promotion are non-transferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable for cash or credit or otherwise.
  1. The Bank reserves the right to replace or substitute the rewards given to you under this Promotion with any item of equivalent or similar value, without prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).
  1. In the event that you terminate your banking relationship with the Bank within six (6) months of the end of the Promotion Period, the Bank further reserves the right to recover the whole or any part of the rewards given to you under this Promotion. At the time of crediting any rewards under this Promotion to you, your Beyond Credit Card account must be valid (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled and/or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason), failing which, the rewards earned by you under the Promotion will be forfeited and the Bank shall also be entitled to recover the whole or any part of such rewards (or such equivalent value) given to you.

In the event the Bank has determined (in the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion) that you are not eligible to receive any reward under the Promotion or to participate in the Promotion or has irregularly or wrongly redeemed a reward, or where the Bank has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that you would not have been entitled to a reward (including but not limited to where the Eligible Transactions were reversed or refunded), the Bank reserves the right to claw back such reward or deduct its value (or such other amount as it deems fit) from the your account(s) with the Bank.
  1. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion Terms and Conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
  1. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Bank, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bank and members of the Bank’s group shall have no liability in respect of, will be indemnified from and against, and/or you hereby agree to release and hold the Bank and members of the Bank’s group harmless for, any expenses, costs of any kind (including legal costs), liability, loss (whether foreseeable or not), claim or damage, directly or indirectly, suffered, incurred (whether in common law or equity), arising from or in connection with your acceptance, possession, use, misuse and/or enjoyment of the rewards gained from this Promotion and/or this Promotion.
  1. These Promotion Terms and Conditions are to be read together with our Customer Terms, Credit Card Terms, Standard Chartered 360° Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions, Standard Chartered Beyond Credit Card Terms and Conditions and any other product terms that may be applicable in conjunction with the Promotion (collectively “Other Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
  1. A person who is not a party to these Promotion Terms and Conditions has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
  1. These Promotion Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.

 

Section 1 – Beyond Credit Card Welcome Offer 

Eligibility Criteria – Welcome Gift

  1. To qualify for the Welcome Gift (as set out in Clause 17 below):
    1. You must apply for the Beyond Credit Card (“Beyond Card”) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”) as a principal cardholder (“Beyond principal cardholder) and such application has to be submitted to the Bank either through https://www.sc.com/sg/ or Standard Chartered SC Referral Club or any of our appointed relationship managers or agents at the Bank’s roadshow booths;
    2. The Bank must receive your application for the Beyond Card within the Promotion Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Bank may continue to process any application received up to 14 calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, and shall retain the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of these applications and/or allow the said applications for the purposes of this Promotion on a case-by-case basis;
    3. Your Beyond Card application must be approved by the Bank, where such approval is final and unconditional;
    4. You must activate your Beyond Card;
    5. Your Beyond Card must, within six (6) months of card approval date, continue to be valid (i.e., your Beyond Card account must not be suspended, cancelled and/or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion; and
    6. You must pay the annual fee of S$1,500 (excluding GST). For the first year, the annual fee will be charged in the first statement cycle. Thereafter, the annual fee will be charged yearly on the date that the Beyond Card was approved by the Bank. This annual fee is strictly not waivable.

Offer Mechanics – Welcome Gift

  1. If you successfully fulfil the conditions under Clause 16, you will receive 60,000 miles (credited to the Beyond Card account in the form of 150,000 Rewards Points) (“Welcome Gift”). 

Eligibility Criteria – Acquisition Gift 

  1. To qualify for the Acquisition Gift (as set out in Clauses 20 and 21 below):
    1. You must have successfully fulfilled the conditions under Clause 16
    2. You must, within 90 calendar days of your Beyond Card approval date (“Eligible Transaction Period”),
      1. Charge a minimum of S$20,000 in Eligible Transactions (as set out in Clause 19 below) to your Beyond Card; or
      2. If you are an employee of the Bank, charge a minimum of S$10,000 in Eligible Transactions (as set out in Clause 19 below) to your Beyond Card
  1. For the purposes of the Beyond Credit Card Welcome Offer, an “Eligible Transaction” is a transaction which:
    1. is charged to your principal or supplementary Beyond Card;
    2. is posted to your Beyond Card account within 90 calendar days of your Beyond Card approval date; and
    3. is not an excluded transaction listed in https://www.sc.com/sg/terms-and-conditions/cc-retail-transaction-exclusions/

Offer Mechanics – Acquisition Gift 

  1. If you successfully fulfil the conditions under Clauses 18a, 18b(i) and 19, you will receive 40,000 miles (credited to the Beyond Card account in the form of 100,000 Rewards Points) (“Acquisition Gift”).
  1. If you successfully fulfil the conditions under Clauses 18a, 18b(ii) and 19, you will receive 40,000 miles (credited to the Beyond Card account in the form of 100,000 Rewards Points) (“Acquisition Gift”), provided that you are still an employee of the Bank at the point of the Acquisition Gift fulfilment.

Other conditions applicable to the Beyond Credit Card Welcome Offer 

  1. If an Eligible Transaction is successfully converted into monthly instalments during the Eligible Transaction Period, the total amount charged for the Eligible Transaction (and not the converted monthly instalment amount) will be used towards the fulfilment of the minimum Eligible Transaction amount as set out in Clauses 18b(i) or 18b(ii).
  1. For Eligible Transactions charged to the Beyond Card in foreign currency, the Singapore Dollar transaction amount posted to your account (inclusive of the exchange rate conversion and commission, if any) will used towards the fulfilment of the minimum Eligible Transaction amount as set out in Clauses 18b(i) or 18b(ii).
  1. For the avoidance of doubt, you may only receive the Welcome Gift and/or Acquisition Gift once under the Beyond Credit Card Welcome Offer.

 

Section 2 – Beyond Fresh Funds Welcome Offer 

Eligibility Criteria 

  1. The Beyond Fresh Funds Welcome Offer is exclusively for New-to-Bank Beyond principal cardholders. To be eligible for this offer,
    1. you must successfully apply for a Beyond Credit Card as a principal cardholder during the Promotion Period; and
    2. you must not have a primary account, primary relationship, or product with the Bank within the past 12 months from the date of commencement of the Promotion Period 
  1. Under this Beyond Fresh Funds Welcome Offer,
    1. Your choice of rewards (subject to fulfilling the conditions as set out in Clause 28) will by default be miles (credited to your Beyond Card in the form of Rewards Points); and
    2. You acknowledge that by virtue of applying for a Beyond Card during the Promotion Period and fulfilling the conditions under Clauses 26 and 28, it is deemed that your rewards eligibility pertains to the Beyond Fresh Funds Welcome Offer, and not the Priority Banking and Priority Private Sign-Up Promotion.
  1. To qualify and receive the rewards for this Beyond Fresh Funds Welcome Offer, you must, within one (1) calendar month of your Beyond Card approval date:
    1. Successfully establish a new Priority Banking or Priority Private relationship with the Bank as a main account holder;

  1. In the event that you cease to maintain your Beyond Card, or your Beyond Card / account(s) tagged to your Priority Banking/Priority Private relationship (as the case may be) are no longer valid and in good standing (as set out in Clause 36), or you opt-out of being treated as an Accredited Investor by the Bank within six (6) calendar months of attaining the Accredited Investor status, you will be considered as disqualified from this Promotion and be deemed to have forfeited any Rewards Points earned, even with the successful fulfilment of Clauses 26 and 28.
  1. In the event that you have received Cashback, Rewards Points, or otherwise under previous Priority Banking & Priority Private Sign-Up Promotions in the last 18 calendar months or as reasonably determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion, you will not be eligible to participate in this Beyond Fresh Funds Welcome Offer.
  1. The Bank reserves the right to decline or cancel the crediting of the Rewards Points earned, or otherwise deem the Rewards Points earned as forfeited without prior notice, in the event that the Bank determines that any of the requirements or the terms of our banking agreement had not been complied with, including but not limited to the following:
    1. where you have acted fraudulently or dishonestly;
    2. where you have conducted yourself in bad faith or otherwise in an inappropriate manner to gain an unfair advantage against the Bank; or
    3. upon the occurrence of any event giving rise to a right for the Bank to suspend or terminate any (or all) of our banking agreement for a product, as set out at Clauses 34 and 35 of our Customer Terms and elsewhere in our banking agreement.
  1. By participating in this Beyond Fresh Funds Welcome Offer, you further agree that, under any of the circumstances stated in Clause 33 above, the Bank is not obliged to substitute the Rewards Points reward with a gift of lower value.

Definitions

  1. Fresh Funds refer to deposits or investments that do not originate from any existing account with the Bank and which have not been withdrawn and transferred back to the Bank within the last 30 days of placement with the Bank. Fresh Funds can be in terms of Eligible Deposits and Eligible Investments with the Bank.
    1. Eligible Deposits refers to deposits in the current/cheque account(s) and/or savings accounts(s) with the Bank and includes time deposits and amounts over which security has been placed in favour of the Bank, but excluding time deposits which are placed under the New to Bank Time Deposit Promotion.
    2. Eligible Investments refers to investment products available with or through the Bank. They do not include insurance policies, foreign currency exchange transactions or investments under the Central Provident Fund Investment Scheme or Supplementary Retirement Scheme.
  1. For a product to be valid and in good standing, it must not be delinquent, suspended, cancelled and/or terminated, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.

Section 3 – Beyond Wealth Welcome Offer

Eligibility Criteria 

  1. The Beyond Wealth Welcome Offer is exclusively for Beyond principal cardholders who are Priority Banking or Priority Private customers with the Bank and consists of three (3) components:
    1. Eligible Unit Trusts, which refers to unit trusts issued and/or distributed by the Bank which carry a minimum sales charge of 1.5% and excludes:
      1. investments placed through the Bank’s Online Trading platform or Online Unit Trust Platform;
      2. exchange traded funds;
      3. investments made through the Central Provident Fund Investment Scheme/Supplementary Retirement Scheme;
      4. investments placed via regular savings plans;
      5. investments placed via SC Invest;
      6. investments placed by employees of the Bank;
      7. investments made by Private Banking clients through the SC Private Banking platform or their Relationship Managers; and
      8. switching transactions.
    1. Eligible Single Premium Products, which refers to non-discounted Single Premium Insurance policies underwritten by Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Pte) Limited (“Prudential”) and distributed by the Bank, which are approved and issued by Prudential within two (2) months from the date of purchase. Please contact your Relationship Manager or Insurance Specialist for the full list of Eligible Single Premium Products.
    2. Eligible Regular Premium Products, which refers to all Regular Premium Insurance policies except PRUShield underwritten by Prudential and distributed by the Bank, which are approved and issued by Prudential within two (2) months from the date of purchase.
  1. To qualify for the Beyond Wealth Welcome Offer, you must successfully apply for a Beyond Credit Card as a principal cardholder during the Promotion Period, and within three (3) calendar months of your Beyond Card approval date:
    1. Purchase a minimum of S$100,000 (or equivalent in foreign currency) in Eligible Unit Trusts within a single day, and/or:
    2. Purchase a minimum of S$100,000 in Eligible Single Premium Products (subject to Clauses 45 to 50) and/or;
    3. Purchase a minimum of S$30,000 in Eligible Regular Premium Products (subject to Clauses 45 to 50).
  1. If you qualify for the Beyond Wealth Welcome Offer, your Beyond Card must continue to be valid (i.e., must not be suspended, cancelled, or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion at the point of rewards fulfilment in order to receive the rewards for the Beyond Wealth Welcome Offer.

  1. If you successfully fulfil the conditions under Clause 38a, you will receive 12,500 miles (credited to the Beyond Card account in the form of 31,250 Rewards Points) for each S$100,000 block of Eligible Unit Trusts purchased. Rewards received from the fulfilment of Clause 38a is capped at 250,000 miles (corresponding to S$2,000,000 of Eligible Unit Trusts).
  1. If you successfully fulfil the conditions under Clause 38b, you will receive 30,000 miles (credited to the Beyond Card account in the form of 75,000 Rewards Points) for each S$100,000 block of Eligible Single Premium Products purchased. Rewards received from the fulfilment of Clause 38b is capped at 300,000 miles (corresponding to S$1,000,000 of Eligible Single Premium Products).
  1. If you successfully fulfil the conditions under Clause 38c, you will receive 30,000 miles (credited to the Beyond Card account in the form of 75,000 Rewards Points) for each S$30,000 block of Eligible Regular Premium Products purchased. Rewards received from the fulfilment of Clause 38c is capped at 300,000 miles (corresponding to S$300,000 of Eligible Regular Premium Products).
  1. The total number of Rewards Points earned = Applicable Earn Rate x Number of Blocks (rounded down). Please refer to the illustration table below:

Other conditions applicable to Eligible Single Premium Products and Eligible Regular Premium Products

  1. For joint owner policies, only the account holder nominated as the main account holder shall be awarded the Rewards Points upon the successful fulfilment of Clauses 38b and/or 38c.
  1. The aggregation of premiums of Eligible Single Premium Products and/or Eligible Regular Insurance Products held by distinct Beyond Credit Cardholders, in order to fulfil Clauses 38b and/or 38c is not allowed.
  1. In the event that your Eligible Single Premium Products and/or Eligible Regular Premium Products are terminated / surrendered / cancelled within 12 months of their commencement date, you shall be deemed to have forfeited the Rewards Points awarded to you. In the event that the Rewards Points have already been received by you, the Bank reserves the right to debit a value equivalent to the Rewards Points (or such other amount as the Bank deems fit) from any of your account(s) held with the Bank without prior notice.
  1. The purchase of any Eligible Single Premium Products and Eligible Regular Premium Products are subject to the terms and conditions of, and acceptance by, Prudential. The benefits listed in any marketing or promotional materials issued by the Bank are for illustration purposes only. Please refer to the full terms and conditions, and exclusions listed in the policy contract. The Bank does not accept any responsibility regarding any statement made in, omission or inclusion of any provision of, any contract between you and Prudential. Any dispute in relation to any contract between you and Prudential is to be resolved directly with Prudential. Section 4 – Beyond Referral Programme 

  1. The Beyond Referral Programme consists of two (2) components – Beyond Card Referral and Segment Referral.

Eligibility Criteria – Beyond Card Referral

  1. To be eligible for the Beyond Card Referral component, you must:
    1. Be a Beyond principal cardholder;
    2. Successfully refer an individual (“Referred Individual”) to the Bank to sign up for a Beyond Credit Card (as set out in Clause 53, subject to Clause 52);
    3. Acknowledge that the Standard Chartered SC Referral Club – Refer and Earn Promotion Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with this Section 4
  1. Prior to referring a Referred Individual to the Bank, you must:
    1. Consent to the Bank disclosing your name and the fact that you hold at least one (1) Deposit Account or Credit Card issued by the Bank to the Referred Individual;
    2. Inform the Referred Individual that rewards (as set out in Clause 55) will be accorded to you if the terms and conditions under this Beyond Card Referral component are complied with;
    3. Undertake to comply with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (and all relevant subsidiary legislation) as may be applicable, including to obtain any required consent from any Referred Individual to receive the referral code from you; and
    4. Inform and obtain the consent of such Referred Individual that the application status of their Beyond Card would be disclosed to you by virtue of whether you receive the rewards (as set out in Clause 55) under this Beyond Card referral component.
  1. A Beyond Card Referral will be considered successful when:
    1. You share your referral code that is generated via the SC Mobile App during the Promotion Period
    2. The Referred Individual applies for a Beyond Credit Card using your referral code during the Promotion Period
    3. The Bank receives the Referred Individual’s application for the Beyond Card within the Promotion Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Bank may continue to process any application received by the Bank for up to 14 calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, and the Bank shall retain the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of these applications and/or allow the said applications for the purposes of this Promotion on a case-to-case basis, subject to the Standard Chartered SC Referral Club – Refer and Earn Promotion Terms and Conditions.
    4. The Referred Individual’s application for a Beyond Card is approved by the Bank, and such approval is final and unconditional
    5. The Referred Individual applying for a Beyond Card must not have a primary account, primary relationship, or product with the Bank within the past 12 months prior to the Referral Date (as set out in Clause 56)
    6. The Referred Individual applying for a Beyond Card is at least 21 years old as of the Referral Date (as set out in Clause 56)
  1. For the purposes of the Beyond Card Referral component, the “Referral Date” is the date on which the Referred Individual applies for a Beyond Card using the referral code that you have shared with him/her.

Offer Mechanics – Beyond Card Referral 

  1. If you successfully fulfil the conditions under Clauses 51 to 53, you will receive 20,000 miles (credited to the Beyond Card Account in the form of 50,000 Rewards Points) per Referred Individual. For the avoidance of doubt, there is no cap to the number of Referred Individuals you may refer.
  1. If more than one (1) existing Beyond principal cardholder refers the same Referred Individual to the Bank during the Promotion Period under the Beyond Card Referral component, only one (1) existing Beyond principal cardholder will be eligible for the rewards as set out in Clause 55, depending on whose referral code was first used by the Referred Individual to make the application for a Beyond Card. In the event of any dispute, the Bank shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine which existing Beyond principal cardholder is eligible for the rewards as set out in Clause 55.
  1. If a particular Referred Individual, pursuant to the Standard Chartered SC Referral Club – Refer and Earn Promotion Terms and Conditions, applies for more than one (1) eligible product besides a Beyond Card during the Promotion Period, a maximum of one (1) eligible product will be eligible for rewards fulfilment. Rewards will only be awarded for the eligible application which the Bank approves first, pursuant to the Standard Chartered SC Referral Club – Refer and Earn Promotion Terms and Conditions, and will only be awarded to the existing customer whose referral code has been used by the Referred Individual to submit such application. In the event of any dispute, the Bank shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine which eligible application is eligible for the rewards fulfilment.
  1. The respective miles you are eligible for will be credited to your Beyond Card account within 60 days from the approval date of the Referred Individual’s Beyond Card, subject to your Beyond Card being valid and in good standing (as set out in Clause 36) at the time the Rewards Points are credited.

Eligibility Criteria – Segment Referral

  1. To be eligible for the segment Referral component, you must:
    1. Be a Beyond principal cardholder; and
    2. Successfully refer an individual (“Referee”) to become a Priority Banking or Priority Private customer (as set out in Clause 62, subject to Clause 61)
  1. Under this Segment Referral component,
    1. Your choice of rewards (subject to fulfilling the conditions as set out in Clause 59) will by default be miles (credited to your Beyond Card in the form of Rewards Points); and
    2. You acknowledge that by virtue of applying for a Beyond Card during the Promotion Period and fulfilling the conditions under Clause 59 and Clauses 61 to 63, it is deemed that your rewards eligibility pertains to the Segment Referral component of the Beyond Referral Programme and not the Priority Banking and Priority Private Referral Programme Promotion.
  1. Prior to referring a Referee to the Bank, you must:
    1. Inform the Referee that he/she will have to provide the Bank with his/her personal particulars in addition to your name and contact details for validation purposes;
    2. Consent to the Bank disclosing your name, and the fact that you are a customer of the Bank to such Referee; and
    3. Consent to the Bank’s representative contacting you via phone calls, SMSes and/or emails regarding the referral and rewards crediting under this promotion.
  1. A Segment Referral will be considered successful when:
    1. The Referee is a New-to-Bank customer who will be at least 21 years old as of the date of becoming a Priority Banking or Priority Private customer. New-to-Bank means anyone who has not:
      1. Been a main account holder of any current/cheque account, savings account or investment account with the Bank;
      2. Purchased any insurance product through the Bank, at any time within the last 12 months of the start of the Promotion Period; and
      3. Had a Priority Banking or Priority Private relationship with the Bank at any time within the last 12 months of the start of the Promotion Period.
    1. The Referee opens a Wealth$aver account or USD$aver account within three (3) calendar months of your Beyond Card approval, subject to your Beyond card application being received during the Promotion Period; and
    2. The Referee, within one (1) calendar month from the month in which he/she opens the Wealth$aver account or USD$aver account:
      1. Successfully establishes a new Priority Banking or Priority Private relationship with the Bank as the main account holder
      2. Fulfil the following requirements according to the new relationship you have just established with the Bank:

    2. An individual that has the authority to make decisions or conduct activities that can significantly impact the safety and soundness of the Bank or its affiliated companies, or cause harm to a significant segment of the customers or other stakeholders of the Bank or its affiliated companies;
    3. An individual that is principally responsible for the day-to-day management of the Bank or its affiliated companies (i.e., Certified Persons); or
    4. An individual whose job duties include the procurement and referral of New-to-Bank customers of the Bank or its affiliated companies (such as Relationship Managers, Business Acquisition Managers and Relationship Service Managers).

  1. There is no cap to the number of Segment Referrals you may make. However, the maximum number of miles you may earn for each successfully referred Referee is 160,000 miles (credited to the Beyond Card account in the form of 400,000 Rewards Points), regardless of the number of accounts opened by each successfully referred Referee. 
  1. If more than one (1) existing Beyond principal cardholder refers the same Referee to the Bank during the Promotion Period under the Beyond Card Referral component, only the existing Beyond principal cardholder whose personal particulars are recorded via the Bank’s internal SharePoint records first will be eligible for the rewards as set out in Clause 64. In the event of any dispute, the Bank shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine which existing Beyond principal cardholder made the referral first and the Bank’s decision is final. 
  1. The respective Rewards Points will be credited to your Beyond card account within seven (7) calendar months from the date that the Referee’s Priority Banking or Priority Private relationship with the Bank is established as per the schedule below:
