This Bonus$aver Sign-up Gift (1 Mar – 31 Jul 2017) Promotion (the "Promotion") is available from 1 Mar to 31 Jul 2017 (both dates inclusive) (the "Promotion Period") to all new and existing clients of Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”), who are individuals and new to Bonus$aver . By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Eligibility
To qualify for this Promotion:
you must apply for (i) a Bonus$aver current/cheque account (the “Bonus$aver Account”) as a main account holder and (ii) a Bonus$aver World MasterCard credit card ("Bonus$aver Credit Card") issued by the Bank as a principal cardholder, via one of two modes of application (each a “Mode of Application”), that is, either (a) filling up and submitting the online application form via the Bank’s website (the "Online Application") or (b) filling up and submitting the physical application forms available at any of the Bank’s branches (the "Branch Application") during the Promotion Period;
both your applications for the Bonus$aver Account and Bonus$aver Credit Card must be approved by the Bank;
you must deposit a minimum sum of either S$10,000 or S$50,000 (as specified in the table at Clause 4below) in fresh funds* (the "Minimum Deposit") into the Bonus$aver Account at the time of account opening, where “fresh funds” means funds that do not originate from any existing account with the Bank and funds that are not withdrawn and re-deposited with the Bank within the last 30 days of opening of your Bonus$aver Account;
you must maintain the Minimum Deposit in your Bonus$aver Account until the end of the following calendar month in which your Bonus$aver Account is opened; and
your Bonus$aver Account and your Bonus$aver Credit Card account must be validly existing (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner at all times, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.
For the avoidance of doubt, this Promotion is only applicable to new applications for Bonus$aver1 received by the Bank during the Promotion Period only. You must not have had a previous Bonus$aver Account and/or Bonus$aver Credit Card account suspended, cancelled or terminated for any reason prior to your new application for Bonus$aver1 and subsequently reopen another Bonus$aver Account and/or Bonus$aver Credit Card account for the purposes of this Promotion.
Bonus$aver Sign-up Gift
If you satisfy the qualifying criteria in Clause 2 (read with Clause 3) above, you will receive one (1) sign-up gift (the “Gift”) stipulated in the right-most column of the table below, which corresponds to the Mode of Application (either Branch Application or Online Application, as set out in the left-most column) and the amount of Minimum Deposit (either S$10,000 or S$50,000, as set out in the middle column):

4A. In addition to the abovementioned Gifts, if you apply for a Bonus$aver Account and Bonus$aver Credit Card during the Promotion Period at any of the Bank’s branches or road shows, you shall be entitled to receive one additional Star Wars Tsum Tsum Medium Plush Collectible as a gift (the “Additional Gift”) at the time of account opening. If you receive the Additional Gift, you must deposit a minimum of S$10,000 in your Bonus$aver Account within 1 month of account opening and maintain it in your Bonus$aver Account until the end of the following calendar month in which your Bonus$aver Account is opened, failing which there will be a charge of S$20 imposed by the Bank and the amount will be debited from your Bonus$aver Account. For the avoidance of doubt, you can elect to receive the Additional Gift or not. If you do not choose to receive the Additional Gift, this Clause 4A shall not apply to you. If you choose to receive the Additional Gift, you are entitled to a maximum of one (1) Additional Gift for this Promotion (regardless of whether your application is for your Bonus$aver1 to be held singly or in joint names), on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.
If you are eligible for a Gift, unless otherwise stated, subject to Clause 6, you will receive a redemption letter or SMS or such other manner in which the Bank deems fit (at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion), with details on the redemption of the Gift (the “Redemption Notification”). Any Gift that is not redeemed, by the expiry date stated in the Redemption Notification or otherwise stipulated by the Bank and/or merchants, will be forfeited.
If the Bank at any time determines (at its sole and absolute discretion) that any of the eligibility requirements set out in Clauses 2 and 3 above was not or has not been complied with but the Gift has been redeemed by you, the Bank reserves the right to recover the Gift or the value of the Gift from you.
No payment or compensation whether in cash, credit or kind shall be made for any uncollected, lost, misplaced, defaced, stolen or damaged Gift or Redemption Notification. The Bank is not an agent of the merchants supplying the Gifts. The Bank makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, value, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the Gifts and assume no liability or responsibility for the acts or omissions of the merchants or any non-performance or defects in the Gifts. Any dispute about the quality, value, condition or performance of the Gifts shall be resolved directly between you and the merchants supplying the Gifts. The Bank is not obliged to assist or act on your behalf in communicating with the merchants supplying the Gifts for any reason. You accept the Gift as it is and subject to any terms and conditions the merchants may impose.
For the avoidance of doubt, you are entitled to a maximum of one (1) Gift for this Promotion, on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last. If you apply for Bonus$aver1 to be held in joint names, only one (1) Gift will be given. You shall be notified by mail or SMS or such other manner in which the Bank deems fit (at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion) on your eligibility for a Gift within three (3) months of the date of approval of your Bonus$aver1 application or such other time as may be determined by the Bank at its sole and absolute discretion. The Gifts are not exchangeable for cash or any other items, and are non-transferable and non-assignable. The Bank reserves the right to replace or substitute the Gift with any item of equivalent or similar value, without prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).
By participating in this Promotion, you also consent to us disclosing your information to persons who are involved in operating or promoting this Promotion (including but not limited to the merchants supplying the Gifts and/or vendors administering the redemption of the Gifts).
General
Unless otherwise stated, this Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges or promotions.
