      FAST Payment 2022 Promotion Terms and Conditions

      1. The FAST Payment 2022 Promotion (the “Promotion”) is available from 1 June 2022 to 31 July 2022 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”). By participating in this Promotion, Selected Account Holders (as defined in Clause 3 below) agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
      1. Under this Promotion, Selected Account Holders (as defined in Clause 3 below) can get cash credit, capped at S$10 of cash credit per Selected Account Holder, when they meet the criteria as set out in Clauses 7 to 8, subject to the terms below.

      Eligibility Criteria

      1. The Promotion is exclusive to the principal cardholder of an Eligible Card or the account holder of an Eligible Personal Loan (as defined at Clause 4 and 5 below), who has received at his/her email address that Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (the “Bank”) has on file for him/her (“Registered Email”), an electronic direct mailer from the Bank about this Promotion (such an electronic direct mailer shall be referred to as the “Communication” and each such a cardholder and account holder shall be referred to as the “Selected Account Holder”).
      1. An “Eligible Card” is a credit card that is issued by the Bank, that is validly existing (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, at all times as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).
      2. An “Eligible Personal Loan” is a CashOne, Credit Card Instalment Loan, Dash Advance Personal Loan, ezyCash, or Debt Consolidation Facility that is disbursed by the Bank, that is validly existing (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, at all times as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).
      3. By participating in the Promotion, the Selected Account Holder consents to the use of his/her personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of his/her telephone number and email address to contact him/her about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or Electronic Direct Mail. Such consent will supersede any prior choices made by the Selected Account Holder. Such consent will also prevail even if the Selected Account Holder is registered or subsequently registers his/her contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.

      Participation

      1. . To participate in this Promotion, the Selected Account Holder must make Eligible FAST Payment (as defined below) into his/her Eligible Card and/or Eligible Personal Loan account within the Promotion Period. For the purposes of this Promotion, an “Eligible FAST Payment” is an inward payment made through Fast And Secure Transfers (“FAST”), that is of an amount of at least S$50 and which is successfully posted, within the Promotion Period, to an Eligible Card or Eligible Personal Loan account with the description, “INTER BANK PAYMENT – FAST”.
      1. During the Promotion Period, the Selected Account Holder must not make any payments to an Eligible Card or Eligible Personal Loan account held in his/her name, via other payment methods, including but not limited to AXS, SingPost Self-service Automated Machine (SAM) or any other methods as the Bank may specify from time to time.
      1. If a Selected Account Holder is one of the first 20,000 Selected Account Holders to satisfy the conditions in Clauses 7 to 8 above, then he/she will be entitled S$1 cash credit (“Credit”) for every Eligible FAST Payment made into each of his/her Eligible Card and/or Eligible Personal Loan account(s) within the Promotion Period. The maximum amount of Credit that each Selected Account Holder may receive pursuant to the Promotion is capped at S$10.
      1. The Credit is non-transferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable for cash or credit or otherwise.
      2. Credit awarded under this Promotion will be credited to the Selected Account Holder’s Eligible Card or Eligible Personal Loan account by 30 September 2022. In the event, a Selected Account Holder has two or more Eligible Card and/or Eligible Personal Loan accounts, the Credit will be credited to the Eligible Card or Eligible Personal Loan account with the earlier account opening date.
      3. Selected Account Holders who have qualified to receive the Credit will be notified by no later than 30 September 2022. SMSes will be sent to the Selected Account Holder’s mobile number that the Bank has on file for him/her to inform him/her that the Credit has been credited to his/her Eligible Card or Eligible Personal Loan account. The details of the Credit amount will be reflected in the relevant Selected Account Holder’s next Statement.

      General

      1. Unless otherwise stated, the Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges or promotions. The Promotion is valid in conjunction with the Standard Chartered The Good Life® Programme.
      2. No payment or compensation whether in cash, credit or kind shall be made for any lost, misplaced or stolen Credit.
      1. The Bank reserves the right to replace or substitute the Credit with any item of equivalent or similar value, without prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).
      1. In the event that the Selected Account Holder terminates his/her banking relationship with the Bank within 6 months of the expiry of the Promotion Period, the Bank further reserves the right to recover the whole or any part of the Credit given to him/her pursuant to this Promotion. At the time of crediting the Credit, the Eligible Card or Eligible Personal Loan account, as the case may be, must be valid (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled and/or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason), failing which, the Credit will be forfeited.
      2. The Bank is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of the Eligible FAST Payment by any party.
      3. The Bank may vary, modify, add, delete or otherwise revise any of these Promotion Terms and Conditions and/or modify, terminate, withdraw, extend, suspend or shorten the Promotion at any time at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion, with or without prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reasons).
      4. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the Promotion, including the Selected Account Holder’s eligibility for the Credit and/or the Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive, and no correspondence will be entertained.
      5. In the event the Bank has determined (in the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion) that a Selected Account Holder is not eligible to receive the Credit or to participate in the Promotion or has irregularly or wrongly redeemed the Credit, or where the Bank has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that the Selected Account Holder would not have been entitled to the Credit, the Bank reserves the right to claw back the Credit or deduct its value (or such other amount as it deems fit) from the Selected Account Holder’s account(s) with the Bank.
      6. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion Terms and Conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
      7. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Bank, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bank and members of the Bank’s group shall have no liability in respect of, will be indemnified from and against, and/or Selected Account Holders hereby agree to release and hold the Bank and members of the Bank’s group harmless for, any expenses, costs of any kind (including legal costs), liability, loss (whether foreseeable or not), claim or damage, directly or indirectly, suffered, incurred (whether in common law or equity), arising from or in connection with their acceptance, possession, use, misuse and/or enjoyment of the Credit and/or this Promotion.
      8. These Promotion Terms and Conditions are to be read together with our Customer Terms and Credit Card Terms and any other product terms that may be applicable in conjunction with the Promotion (collectively “Other Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion Terms and Conditions and the Other Terms, these Promotion Terms and Conditions prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency
      9. A person who is not a party to these Promotion Terms and Conditions has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these Promotion Terms and Conditions.
      10. These Promotion Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Terms and Conditions, shall be governed by and are to be construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
