New to Standard Chartered Credit Card Promotion (Roadshow) Terms and Conditions

1.1. This New to Standard Chartered Credit Card Promotion (Roadshow) (the “Promotion”) is available from 11 October 2025 – 31 December 2025 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period“), unless otherwise extended or otherwise terminated in accordance with these terms and conditions. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. From time to time, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (the “Bank”) may organise public roadshows (each a “Roadshow”) which promote credit card applications, and this Promotion is held in conjunction with selected Roadshows. Successful applicants will receive gift (“Welcome Gift”) of the Bank’s choice (which may vary from time to time at the Bank’s sole discretion), subject to a maximum of one Welcome Gift per successful applicant. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Eligibility – New credit cardholders  

1.2. To qualify for this Promotion and receive the Welcome Gift available as set out in Clause 1.3 below:

(a) you must be a new Standard Chartered principal cardholder. In other words, you must not have any existing or previously cancelled Standard Chartered credit cards in the last 12 months;

(b) you must apply via the link provided by an agent of the Bank for a SC Simply Cash Credit Card or a Smart Credit Card or a Journey Card (each a “Eligible Card”) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”) as a principal cardholder (“Cardholder”).

(c) Standard Chartered must receive your application for the Eligible Card within the Promotion Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Standard Chartered may continue to process any application received by Standard Chartered up to 14 calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, and Standard Chartered shall retain the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of these applications and/or allow the said applications for the purposes of this Promotion on a case-to-case basis, subject to these terms and conditions;

(d) your Eligible Card application must be approved by Standard Chartered within 14 calendar days after the Promotion Period, where such approval is final and unconditional;

(e) you must activate the Eligible Card within 30 days from the card approval date, and

(f) the Eligible Card account must, within three (3) months of the Eligible Card account opening date, be valid (i.e. the Eligible Card account must not be suspended, cancelled and/or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by Standard Chartered in its sole and absolute discretion.

(a) Standard Chartered must receive your application for the Credit Card Funds Transfer and the Eligible Card within the Promotion Period (“Application”). Notwithstanding the foregoing, Standard Chartered may continue to process any Application received by Standard Chartered up to 14 calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, and Standard Chartered shall retain the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of these Applications and/or allow the said Applications for the purposes of this Promotion on a case-to-case basis, subject to these terms and conditions.

(b) the minimum Credit Card Funds Transfer approved amount is S$1,000, and the maximum is 90% of the Cardholder’s assigned credit limit of the Standard Chartered Credit Card Accounts at the time of processing the Application (“Credit Card Funds Transfer”).

(c) the Credit Card Funds Transfer account must be validly existing (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled or terminated for any reason within three (3) months of the Credit Card Funds Transfer account opening date), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner at all times, as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.

3. Offsite Roadshow Welcome Gift Promotion Terms and Conditions

 3.1 This Offsite Roadshow Welcome Gift Promotion (the “Promotion”) is available from 11 October 2025 to 31 December 2025 (both dates inclusive), unless otherwise extended or terminated in accordance with these terms. From time to time, Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (the “Bank”) may organise public road-shows (each a “Roadshow”) which promotes credit card applications, and this Promotion is held in conjunction with selected Roadshows. Eligible applicants will receive an Welcome Gift (“Gift”) of the Bank’s choice (which may vary from time to time at the Bank’s sole discretion), subject to a maximum of one Gift per successful applicant, on a first come, first served basis, while stocks last. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.2 To qualify for the Promotion, you must meet the eligibility criteria as set out in Clauses 1 and 2, and mail a completed application form (together with relevant supporting documents) to the Bank at 9 Changi Business Park Crescent, Singapore 486005, and your application must be approved.

3.3 For the avoidance of doubt, you must not have received any gift upon applying for a credit card under any previous Roadshows held by the Bank in the preceding twelve (12) calendar months. All applications must be received within one (1) calendar month of the last day of a Roadshow, and must be mailed using the envelopes provided by the Bank and marked with an identifiable code at the Roadshow.

3.4 Gift

    1. The Gifts are provided by third party merchants. The Bank is not an agent of the merchants supplying the Gifts. The Bank makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, value, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the Gifts, and assume no liability or responsibility for the acts or omissions of the merchants or any non-performance or defects in the Gifts. Any dispute about the quality, value, condition or performance of the Gifts is to be resolved by you directly with the merchants. The Bank is not obliged to assist or act on your behalf in communicating with the merchants supplying the Gifts for any reason. You accept the Gifts as they are and subject to any terms and conditions the merchants may impose.
    2. No payment or compensation whether in cash, credit or kind shall be made for any unused, lost, misplaced, defaced, stolen or damaged Gift.
    3. Each Gift is non-redeemable for cash, credit and/or any other items. The Gift is strictly nontransferable, non-assignable and non-exchangeable, whether in full or in part. The Bank may, at its sole and absolute discretion, replace or substitute the Gift with any item of equivalent or similar value, at any time without prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reasons).
    4. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Bank, the Bank shall not be responsible for, and you hereby agree to release and hold the Bank harmless for, any 2 PUBLIC expenses, loss (whether foreseeable or not), claim or damage suffered or incurred (whether in common law or equity) arising from or in connection with, directly or indirectly, your redemption of and/or enjoyment of the Gifts and/or this Promotion, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Fulfilment or Redemption of Gifts 

4.1. By qualifying for and participating in any of the Promotions as set out in this terms and conditions, you consent to us sending you notifications by way of either SMS or SC Mobile Push Notification (the “Redemption SMS/Push Notification”), if you are eligible for the Welcome Gift and/or Bonus Gift, within 120 calendar days of the latest date of fulfilment for all the conditions set out above. You also consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data (including the last four digits of your NRIC/passport number) by the Bank and/or relevant third parties (including but not limited to the merchants supplying the Gift, the merchants delivering the Gift (to the extent that such delivery option is made available to you), and/or merchants administering the redemption of the Gift) necessary for the purposes of administering the redemption of the Gift and/or delivering the Gift. Your personal data will be processed in line with the Bank’s privacy statement available at https://www.sc.com/sg/privacy/. By redeeming the Gift, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated herein and in the Bank’s Redemption Terms and Conditions (details of which will be provided to you should you qualify for the Gift).

General

5. An “Eligible Transaction”, for the purposes of this Promotion, is a transaction which is charged and posted to the Eligible Card within 30 days of the date the application for the Eligible Card is approved pursuant to this Promotion. For the purposes of this Promotion, the transactions listed in https://www.sc.com/sg/terms-and-conditions/cc-retail-transaction-exclusions/ will not be considered as Eligible Transactions.

6. If you have received the Eligible Card in conjunction with your application for a CashOne / Credit Card Instalment Loan or any other credit card sign-up promotions of the Bank, you will not be eligible for the Welcome Gift and/or Bonus Gift under this Promotion.

7. Unless otherwise stated, this Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges or promotions. The Promotion is valid in conjunction with the Credit Card Sign-Up Promotion Terms and Conditions and The Good Life Terms and Conditions.

8. No payment or compensation whether in cash, credit or kind shall be made for any lost, misplaced or stolen Welcome Gift.

9. The Bank reserves the right to replace or substitute the Welcome Gift with any item of equivalent or similar value, without prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason).

10.If the Bank at any time determines (at its sole and absolute discretion) that any of the eligibility requirements set out in Clauses 1 or 2 above was not or has not been complied with but the Welcome Gift and/or Bonus Gift has been redeemed by you, the Bank reserves the right to claw back the value of the Welcome Gift and/or Bonus Gift, or to deduct its value (or such other amount as it deems fit) from the Cardholder’s account with the Bank.

11. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Bank, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bank and members of the Bank’s group shall have no liability in respect of, and will be indemnified from and against, any liability, loss, claim, damage or costs of any kind (including legal costs) to any person or entity, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, whether by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Welcome Gift.

12. Standard Chartered reserves the right to do any of the following without prior notice:

    1. terminate, withdraw, shorten, suspend or extend this Promotion at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion, with or without prior notice or reason; and/or
    2. vary, modify, add or delete any of the terms of the Promotion.

You agree and consent to be bound by any such variation.

13.These Standard Chartered Credit Cards Sign-Up Promotion Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with our Customer Terms, Credit Card Terms and any other specific Product Terms that may be relevant in connection with this Promotion (“Other Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.

14.Standard Chartered is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or any telecommunication provider.

15. Standard Chartered makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the goods and services bought and accepts no liability for the services provided by any merchant or service provider. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the merchant or service provider.

16. Standard Chartered reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, including:

    1. your eligibility to participate in this Promotion;
    2. your eligibility to receive any cashback under this Promotion; and/or
    3. calculation of the cashback you receive under this Promotion.

Standard Chartered’ s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.

17. By applying for an Eligible Card pursuant to this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of your telephone number and email address to contact you about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or Electronic Direct Mail. Such consent will supersede any prior choices made by you. Such consent will also prevail even if you are registered or subsequently register your contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.

18. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, prevail.

19. A person who is not a party to the Standard Chartered Credit Cards Sign-Up Promotion Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of the Promotion Terms and Conditions.

20. The Standard Chartered Credit Cards Sign-Up Promotion Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
