Terms and Conditions for Login and Transact Offer

  • Of the Standard Chartered Bank UAE (hereinafter referred to as the “Bank”) account and credit card holders (hereinafter referred to as the “Client” or “Clients”), this offer is applicable only to: Login and Transact Offer This offer is open to all Clients who login and perform “eligible transaction(s)” as defined below on Online & Mobile Banking from 15 February to 15 June  2018 (both dates inclusive and hereinafter referred to as the “Offer Period”) and meet the eligibility requirement given below will be eligible. The highest number of eligible transactions performed over the campaign period will win Grand Prize. An “eligible transaction” is defined as follows:
    • Any utility bill payment done through iBanking & Mobile Banking towards any of the following:
    • Etisalat
    • DU
    • Salik
    • Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA)
    • Sharjah Electricity & Water Authority (SEWA)
    • Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC)
    • Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC)
    • Fund Transfer (Own Account / International / Local)
    • Credit Card Bill Payment
    • 1Minimum transaction amount for bill payments is AED 20.
    • 2Minimum transaction amount for funds transfers is AED 50.
    • Transactions where the word “WIN” has been added to the Payment reference field
      The following transactions shall not be considered for the offer:
    • Unsuccessful or rejected transfer/ payment transactions
    • Transfer / Payment transactions executed through channels outside Standard Chartered Online or Mobile Banking
    • Transaction amount is less than AED 50/- (for Fund Transfers)
    • Transaction amount less that AED 20/- (for Bill Payments)
    • Transactions that do not carry the promo code “WIN” in the payment reference field
    • Monthly Winners: There will 2 winners each month for the first 3 months. The 2 monthly winners will be rewarded with an Apple iPhone X device, each. The winners will be determined by the number of transactions they do in the campaign month.
    • Grand Prize Winner: The client with highest number of eligible transactions during the Offer Period (i.e. over each of the 4 months of the campaign) will be the Grand Prize Winner. He or she will receive an Apple MacBook Pro at the end of offer period.
    • Winners for the period of 15 February 2018 to 15 March 2018 will be announced on the 20 March 2018
    • Winners for the period 16 March 2018 to 15 April  2018 will be announced on the 20 of April 2018
    • Winners for the period 16 April 2018 to 15 May 2018 will be announced on the 20 May  2018
    • Grand Prize winners for the period 16 May 2018 to 15 June 2018 will be announced on the 20 June 2018
    • Names of the winners will be announced on the Standard Chartered Bank UAE Facebook page and the winners will also be notified via a recorded telephone call.
    • In the event of a tie, the customer with the highest Transaction Value (in AED) will be deemed to be the winner
    • Only clients who pay with their Standard Chartered bank accounts or credit cards will be eligible to win.
    • Any query or complaint in this regard should be stated within 30 days after the expiry of the campaign. Any complaint or query after this time will not be considered valid.
    • You can only win one Apple iPhone X, but you should continue to make as many transactions as possible during the promotional period from 15 February to 15 June 2018 to be eligible for the Grand Prize of an Apple MacBook Pro.
    • Promotional periods and prizes on offer:
    15 February – 15 March 2018: Apple iPhone X (2 winners) 16 March – 15 April 2018: Apple iPhone X (2 winners) 16 April – 15 May 2018: Apple iPhone X (2 winners) 16 May – 15 June 2018: Apple MacBook Pro  (1 winner)
    • Winners will be determined based on usage of the Online and Mobile Banking fund transfer and bill payment capability
    • The Monthly Prize and the Grand Prize are not exchangeable for cash or any other item.
    • Each Monthly Winner will only be eligible to win one Monthly Prize, however they will also be eligible for the Grand Prize.
    • By participating in this Offer, customers grant the Bank the right to publish the results of the entries (including their names) on our Facebook page (facebook.com/standardchartereduae)
    • If the Bank discovers that a winner is in fact not entitled to participate in the Offer, the Bank may forfeit their Monthly Prize and/or the Grand Prize (or reclaim it if awarded) and award or dispose it as they deemed fit.
    • The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to or in connection with the selection of the winners shall be final and binding for all parties concerned (including all Clients).
    • The Bank shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence with any Client or any other person on any matter concerning the selection of the winners.
    • The Bank may at any time and without prior notice or liability to any Client: vary, modify, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions and may also withdraw or discontinue the Offer.
    • In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of the Offer, the Bank reserves the right to: end or suspend the offer, amend these terms and conditions, and/or declare the notification of winners void.
    • The Bank makes no representation or warranty with respect to the satisfactory quality or performance of the Prizes given in this Offer. Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions as may be imposed by the merchant which are beyond our control. Any issue or dispute with the Prizes must be resolved directly with the merchant. The Bank is not responsible for any loss, damage and/or injury sustained by any winner or any other person arising directly or indirectly from use of any of the Prizes. Apple Inc. is not the sponsor or participant in this Offer.
    • By participating in this Offer all Clients will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material.
