1 To participate in the SC Remit (i) “Best Rate Guarantee” Promotion and (ii) “Zero Remittance Fees” Promotion (both from 12 February 2018 to 31 January 2019), you must complete an online remittance from an SGD Bank Account held with Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Bank”) to India, with INR as the remittance currency; to the United States of America, with USD as the remittance currency; to the United Kingdom, with GBP as the remittance currency; or to Australia, with AUD as the remittance currency (each, a “Qualifying Remittance Transaction” or “QRT”).
2 Under the SC Remit Best Rate Guarantee Promotion, for every QRT, you are eligible to submit 1 claim for a Reimbursement (capped at S$250) if you (a) inform the Bank about a Better Online Remittance Rate offered by a Remitting Bank on its website within 1 hour from your completion of the QRT; and (b) submit your Promotion Claim to the Bank within 3 days of the QRT.
3 Under the SC Remit Zero Remittance Fees Promotion, all remittance fees and expenses imposed by the Bank for every QRT will be waived if you select OUR as the bank charges option.

Deposit Insurance Scheme
Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$50,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
