1 To participate in the (i) SC Remit “Best Rate Guarantee” Promotion (12 February 2018 to 30 June 2018) (the “SC Remit Best Rate Guarantee Promotion”) and the (ii) SC Remit “Zero Remittance Fees” Promotion (12 February 2018 to 30 June 2018) (the “SC Remit Zero Remittance Fees Promotion”), you must successfully complete an online remittance from an SGD Bank Account held with Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Bank”) to an Indian Rupee (“INR”) account held with any bank in India and select the remittance currency as INR; or to a United States Dollar (“USD”) account held with any bank in the Unites States of America, with the currency of remittance selected as USD; or to a Sterling Pound (“GBP”) account held with any bank in the United Kingdom, with the currency of remittance selected as GBP; or to an Australian Dollar (“AUD”) account held with any bank in Australia, with the currency of remittance selected as AUD (each transaction defined as a “Qualifying Remittance Transaction”).
2 Under the SC Remit Best Rate Guarantee Promotion, for every Qualifying Remittance Transaction that you successfully complete from now till 30 June 2018, you will be eligible to submit one (1) claim (“Promotion Claim”) for a Reimbursement (capped at S$250) if you are able to (a) provide information to the Bank that there was a Better Online Remittance Rate offered by another Remitting Bank on its public website within one hour from your successfully completing the Qualifying Remittance Transaction; and (b) submit your Promotion Claim to the Bank within 3 days of the Qualifying Remittance Transaction. 3 Under the SC Remit Zero Remittance Fees Promotion, for every Qualifying Remittance Transaction that you successfully complete from now till 30 June 2018, all remittance fees and expenses imposed by the Bank shall be waived if you have selected OUR as the option for bank charges. Deposit Insurance Scheme
Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$50,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law.
