1. Pursuant to the Standard Chartered Spend and Win Promotion (the “Promotion”), you are eligible to receive First class round trip tickets to Tokyo, Japan awarded in equivalent of 250,000 KrisFlyer miles (“Grand Prize”). You would have received a notification, by any of the communications channels by the Bank, which will state the redemption details of the Grand Prize and contain a link to these Promotion Terms and Conditions (the “Redemption Notification”). By redeeming the Grand Prize, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated herein.
2. The Grand Prize must be redeemed during the redemption period stated in the Redemption Notification (“Redemption Period”). You will receive a Redemption Notification from the Bank to fill up a form to provide your KrisFlyer account details within 60 working days of the end of the Promotion Period. Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”) will not extend the Redemption Period should you fail to redeem the Grand Prize during the Redemption Period for any reasons whatsoever. KrisFlyer account number submitted must be that of the principal cardholder.
3. The KrisFlyer Miles you are entitled to receive under this Promotion will be awarded by the Bank and credited directly into the KrisFlyer account of an Eligible Customer with Singapore Airlines Limited by 31 December 2024, subject to the Eligible Card being valid and in good standing. The KrisFlyer Miles will be forfeited if any of the Eligible Customer’s account(s) with the Bank are suspended, closed or the Eligible Customer is in breach of our banking agreement.
4. A deleted Redemption Notification will not be replaced. In addition: The Bank reserves the right to decline to award the KrisFlyer Miles, or cancel crediting of the KrisFlyer Miles (without notice to the Eligible Customer) under this Promotion, in the event that the Bank determines that any of the requirements or the terms of our banking agreement had not been complied with, including but not limited to the following:
   1. Where the Eligible Customer has acted fraudulently or dishonestly;
   2. Where the Eligible Customer has conducted himself/herself in bad faith or otherwise in an inappropriate manner to gain an unfair advantage against the Bank;
   3. Upon the occurrence of any event giving rise to a right for the Bank to suspend or terminate any (or all) of our banking agreement for a product, as set out at Clause 29.3 and Clause 31 of our Customer Terms and elsewhere in our banking agreement.
5. The Redemption Notification is valid for a one-time redemption only. Any attempt to use the same Redemption Notification for more than one redemption shall not be permitted. In the event that the Grand Prize is redeemed more than once by you or your Representative (if applicable) using the same Redemption Notification, the Bank reserves the right to claw back the full value of the Grand Prize that was redeemed in excess. The Bank’s determination in this regard shall be final and conclusive.
6. The Grand Prize is not refundable, not exchangeable for cash or any other item(s) and is non-transferable and non-assignable.

KrisFlyer Miles

7. You must provide true, complete and accurate KrisFlyer account information (including but not limited to your personal details, your KrisFlyer membership details and/or account number) to the Bank via an online registration form on a designated webpage of the Bank within two (2) weeks of receiving the Bank’s Redemption Notification. You agree that you are solely responsible for the completeness and accuracy of any information submitted to the Bank via the online registration form provided in the Redemption Notification.
8. If you do not have a KrisFlyer account, then you need to register for a new KrisFlyer account with Singapore Airlines Limited within four (4) weeks of the date that the Eligible Card was approved.
9. In the event that you had provided any incorrect or incomplete information, the Bank may cancel, reverse, debit or forfeit any KrisFlyer Miles awarded to you, or otherwise suspend the crediting of KrisFlyer Miles, with or without prior notification. You agree and acknowledge that no payment or compensation whether in cash, credit or kind shall be made by the Bank in consequence of the above.
10. Each Eligible Cardholder shall only be entitled once to the award of Grand Prize from the Bank under this Promotion regardless of the number of accounts that the Eligible Customer opens with the Bank or the value of Eligible Deposits or Eligible Investments made.
11. The maximum KrisFlyer Miles under this Promotion awarded per Eligible Cardholder is capped at 250,000.
12. By participating in this Promotion, you consent to the Bank’s use and disclosure of your personal data and/or information provided to Singapore Airlines Limited and any relevant third party for the purposes of administering your registration for a KrisFlyer account, awarding KrisFlyer Miles under the Promotion, organising and promoting the Promotion, or otherwise for purposes relating to the Promotion; and you further acknowledge that your personal data and/or information
    1. will also be processed in line with the Bank’s privacy statement available at sc.com/sg/privacy; and
    2. may be used in accordance with the Bank’s policies, terms and conditions or notices made available by the Bank to you from time to time.
13. Terms and conditions of Singapore Airlines Limited’s KrisFlyer Programme apply in relation to your redemption and/or use of KrisFlyer Miles. For details, please visit https://www.singaporeair.com/en_UK/ppsclub_krisflyer/termsconditions-kf/. The Bank is not obliged to notify you of any changes or latest announcements of Singapore Airlines Limited’s KrisFlyer Programme.
14. For the avoidance of doubt, the Bank is not an agent of Singapore Airlines Limited, the merchant administering or otherwise crediting the KrisFlyer Miles under the KrisFlyer Programme. The Bank makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, value, merchantability or fitness for the purpose of the KrisFlyer Miles and assume no liability or responsibility for the acts or omissions of Singapore Airlines Limited, its employees, agents and/or officers or any non-performance or defects whatsoever, whether arising from the services provided by Singapore Airlines Limited or otherwise. Any dispute about the quality, value, condition or performance of the services received from Singapore Airlines Limited is to be resolved directly between you and Singapore Airlines Limited. The Bank is not obliged to assist or act on your behalf in communicating with Singapore Airlines Limited for any reason. You accept the KrisFlyer Miles as it is and subject to any terms and conditions Singapore Airlines Limited may impose.
15. By redeeming the Grand Prize, you consent to the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data (including the last four digits of your NRIC/passport number) by the Bank and/or relevant third parties (including but not limited to the merchants supplying the Grand Prize necessary for the purposes of administering the redemption of the Grand Prize. Your personal data will be processed in line with the Bank’s privacy statement available at https://www.sc.com/sg/privacy/.
16. The Bank reserves the right to vary, modify, revise, add or delete any of these Standard Chartered Promotion Terms and Conditions at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion, without prior notice or reason. You agree and consent to be bound by any such variation, modification, revision, addition or deletion.
17. The Grand Prize is provided by third party merchant(s) who are not participants or sponsors of the Promotion. The Bank is not an agent of the merchant supplying the Grand Prize and makes no representation or warranty as to the Grand Prize and the goods and services provided by the merchant, including but not limited to the quality, merchantability, fitness of purpose, condition or performance of the same. The Grand Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the merchant(s). Any dispute about the condition, merchantability, fitness of purpose, quality or performance of the Grand Prize or the goods and services provided by a merchant or a service provider must be resolved directly with the merchant and the service provider respectively. The Bank is not obliged to assist or act on your behalf in communicating with the merchant(s) and the service provider(s). The Bank assumes no liability or responsibility for the acts or omissions of the merchant(s), the service provider(s), your Representative, or any non-performance or defects in the Grand Prize. Except for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Bank, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Bank and members of the Bank’s group shall have no liability in respect of, and will be indemnified from and against, any liability, loss, claim, damage or costs of any kind (including legal costs) to any person or entity, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, whether by reason of your acceptance, possession, use or misuse of Grand Prize , or whether by reason of your appointment of an authorised representative (as referred to in Clause 8 above) to collect the Grand Prize on your behalf.
18. Standard Chartered reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the redemption of the Grand Prize . Standard Chartered’s determination of all matters relating to the redemption of the Grand Prize shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
19. These Promotion Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Standard Chartered Spend and Win GA Promotion Terms and Conditions, Standard Chartered Spend and Win GB Promotion Terms and Conditions, Customer Terms, Credit Card Terms and any other specific Product Terms that may be relevant in connection with the Promotion (collectively, “Other Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency between these Spend and Win Redemption Terms and Conditions and the Other Terms, these Spend and Win Redemption Terms and Conditions will prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
20. A person who is not a party to these Spend and Win Redemption Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of these Spend and Win Redemption Terms and Conditions.
21. These Million Reasons to be Happier Redemption Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Promotion Redemption Terms and Conditions, shall be governed by and are to be construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
