Device Linking with SC Mobile Application - FAQs

  • In Device Binding/ linking, your mobile device credentials like serial number, IMEI number are linked with the SC Mobile app to make your Mobile Banking access secured. This limits access to SC Mobile App from a trusted device only and makes your app usage secure.

  • To secure your transactions on SC Mobile App, it is mandatory to access it from a trusted mobile device. This prevents any unauthorised attempt to access your SC Mobile App ID from unregistered device.

  • To link your SC Mobile App ID with your mobile device, login using your Online Banking s ID and password on SC Mobile App. You will need data access or internet connection on your device to use this application.

To bind/ link your login account with a trusted mobile device, please follow the below steps:

Step 1: Click on the login

Step 2: Continue with the login process.

Step 3: On successful login to SC Mobile using your Online Banking User ID/ Password, your device will be linked to user account.

  • At any given point of time, you will be allowed to link three mobile devices with your Online Banking login credentials. If you already have three devices linked to your Online Banking ID, unlink one device to bind the new device.

  • To secure your login to SC Mobile App, your mobile device is linked to one Online Banking ID only. In case, you wish to access another Online Banking ID, it is recommended (not mandatory) to use a different device.
