Linking of Aadhaar / UID number with your Standard Chartered Bank Savings Account

Government of India is issuing Unique Identification number (UID) / Aadhaar number to residents of India through Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). All Government benefits will now be routed through the individual’s bank account that is linked to Aadhaar / UID number. We request you to link your Aadhaar / UID number to your Standard Chartered Bank Account to avail Government subsidies / payments, directly to your bank account. For the purpose of linking your Aadhaar /UID number to your Standard Chartered Bank Savings account , Please visit the nearest Standard Chartered Bank Branch with the original Aadhaar / UID card to update your Aadhaar / UID number.

    No fee will be charged at any stage for Aadhaar registration and related payment processing.
  • How can I register my Aadhaar number to my StanChart account to receive Aadhaar based payments?
    Visit any of our Standard Chartered Bank branch along with your original Aadhaar card and account number. At the branch, you will need to fill up the Aadhaar registration form and give your Aadhaar ID photo copy.
  • How many account can I register my Aadhaar number in?
    Only one account can be registered with the Aadhaar number to receive Aadhaar payments.
  • How many Aadhaar number can be registered in one account?
    All joint holders (maximum of 4) can register their Aadhaar number to StanChart account to receive their payments.
