NTB Priority Banking Offer (Taj)- Terms and conditions

Offer details and Fulfilment.

Definitions

1.Bank: Standard Chartered Bank, India/ SCB

2.Offer: 1st June 2024 – 31st December 2024

Target Segment:  Resident  Clients signing up for Priority Banking

Applicability: To resident clients signing up for Priority banking /opening of SCB Priority Banking account.

Offer details: India Hotels Private Ltd -Taj Voucher of Rupees Seven thousand five hundred only (INR 7.5k) (may be redeemed for spends towards rooms, food and beverages, spa and other services and applicable taxes without restrictions at Taj, SeleQtions and Vivanta hotels and Ama Trails & Stays in India) @ Month of balance 2 and 6 months.

Offer conditions/ Qualification Criteria :

 

  • Condition 1- Card Spends (Credit /Debit) & UPI Spends – Client must spend INR 50k within 2 months and 50k within months 3,4,5 & 6 respectively. Through either SCB Credit or Debit card or both and /or UPI Spends. Cumulative spends should be Rupees Fifty Thousand only (INR 50Konly) at the end of month of balance 2 and month of balance 6.
  • Condition 2- Fulfilment of Priority Banking Eligibility Criteria

Priority Eligibility Criteria for new customers (applicable for a Standard Chartered Bank relationship for the first 12 months of account opening)

1.Minimum monthly average FUM (Funds under management) of Rs 30 Lakh, or

2.Priority programme Qualification criteria to be met twice In a period of 3 months for 7.5k @MOB 2 & programme Qualification each month for 4 months for 7.5k @MOB 6

3.Minimum monthly salary credit into Standard Chartered salary account of Rs 3 Lakh1, or

4.Mortgage approved amount above Rs 2 Crore1

FUM (Funds under management) includes any one or combination of the following products from the Bank: Savings accounts, Term Deposits, Investments made through the Bank

Fulfilment of the voucher to happen in the 4th month, 8th month respectively.

2.Offer Period: Period commencing from the time you receive the offer via the welcome activation offer emailer on your registered email ID with Bank (Subject to your marketing email consent).

3.Qualified Client: The offer is applicable to all newly onboarded Resident Priority banking clients.

4.Terms and conditions of the vouchers shall be subject to terms and conditions of India Hotels Private Ltd.

  1. The client receives the voucher having met the qualification criteria’s. The e-voucher is shared with the client 2 months from having met the criteria’s i.e. 4th and 8th month respectively). The voucher is valid for 12 months for utilisation. E-Vouchers are valid on all days of the week subject to conditions of the vouchers shall be subject to terms and conditions of India Hotels Private Ltd.
  2. To avail the e-voucher, the Client must present the voucher ID at the India Hotels Private Ltd -Taj group of hotels.
  3. This e-voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer.
  4. The e-voucher can be used until exhausted in tranches or single transactions.
  5. No extension will be granted post the expiry date under any circumstances.
  6. Customer will have access to all of the services for a period of 12 months from the date of receiving the same. E- gift vouchers will be subject to the t&c of the program construct.

 

1.Taj Experience eGift vouchers (herein after referred to as “TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER”) are issued by The Indian Hotels Company Limited, hereinafter referred to as Taj / The Company.

3.TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER balance may be redeemed for spends towards rooms, food and beverages, spa and other services and applicable taxes without restrictions at Taj, SeleQtions and Vivanta hotels and Ama Trails & Stays in India, except for retail spends at third-party outlets, business centre equipment hire, hired services from third party sources, expenses on banquets, conferences, and events, or expenses of a personal nature for which a pay-out is raised such as buying medicines, repairs of personal items, etc. and payment for any membership program.

4.Multiple transactions can be performed on the TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER until the value of the TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER is exhausted.

5.Should your purchase value exceed the balance on TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER, the differential amount of such purchase may be loaded on the TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER or paid at the point of sale in cash or through an accepted credit or debit card, at the time of making such purchase.

 

6.A valid TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER in its original form or e-mail must be presented at the time of availing a service.

7.For prepaid room reservations at Taj Reservations Worldwide the voucher number must be quoted when making the reservation. In case of cancellations the Standard cancellation policies  of Taj would apply. Please contact Taj Reservations Worldwide to process any eligible refunds from cancellations on your e-voucher.

8.TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER shall not be valid for use at any other service establishment or for withdrawal of cash.

9.No refund, replacement or cash back would be considered against the TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER. Once a TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER is issued, the company will not entertain any request for cancellation. Any defaced, torn, altered, spoiled or cancelled voucher is deemed invalid and shall not be accepted.

 

10.Persons purchasing TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHERs or similar products from an unauthorized seller or platform do so at their own risk and consequences; Taj shall not be responsible or liable in respect of any claims or loss/damage caused to any person in any manner whatsoever in relation to TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER or similar products purchased from such unauthorized sellers or platforms. 11.Redemption of the TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER by its bearer shall be valid discharge of the company’s liabilities in respect of the TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER.

12.Any dispute needs to be referred to The Indian Hotels Company Limited and the decision of the company shall be final.

13.Any further dispute related to the e-voucher all be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai.

14.The TAJ EXPERIENCE GIFT E-VOUCHER is subject to applicable laws. The company, purchaser and the voucher bearer shall comply with all applicable laws promulgated by any statutory/judicial/competent authority from time to time in this regard.

15.The company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time.

16.Any change in these terms and conditions can be viewed on the Taj website.

    6.General Terms and Conditions

    1. This is an exclusive offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All the details regarding the offer are available on the Bank’s website (www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this
    3. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the offer up to the termination/expiry date.
    4. Participation in this offer is entirely voluntary and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made voluntarily.
    5. The offer is non-transferable.
    6. The offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
    7. Standard Chartered Bank shall not entertain any such disputes on the quality of products /services delivered by India Hotels Private Ltd  – Taj even if, the customer approaches the Bank for resolution of the same.
    8. The Bank will not be responsible or liable in case the Offer is not configured or could not be availed due to malfunction, delay, traffic congestion on any telephone network or line, computer on-line system, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or website.
    9. The Bank does not endorse any of the products, services or brands being offered under the Offer and will not accept any liability pertaining to the quality, merchantability, fitness, delivery or after-sales service of such products or services, which shall be at the sole liability of the sellers on the Taj.

 

    1. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements for the results of the offer. The Qualified Clients shall be intimated by the Bank through Email only.
    2. In all matters relating to this offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.

11.By participating in the offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.

12.Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the client due to provision of the offer, shall be to the sole account of the client

13.The Offer shall be subject to usual force majeure events and on occurrence of such event, the Offer may be withdrawn at the discretion of Standard Chartered Bank

14.Nothing expressed or implied in the program shall in any way waive or amend any of the applicable terms and conditions.

18.Any disputes arising out of the Offer shall be subject to arbitration by a sole arbitrator appointed by both the Parties with mutual consultations for this purpose. The proceedings of the arbitration shall be conducted as per the provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The place of arbitration shall be at Mumbai and language of arbitration shall be English

19.Customers are not bound in any way to participate in the program

20.Any such participation is voluntary and the same is being made purely on a best effort basis

21.All liability with respect to the products purchased lies with India Hotels Private Ltd – TAJ and the Bank shall be in no way responsible for the same

22.All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
