Terms and Conditions for the UPI campaign for Savings Account (SA) clients

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank:Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Client/s: Resident Client means client from the personal, premium or priority segment who has maintained a savings account with the Bank.
      Offer means Clients who have done a UPI Transaction of amounts referred in the point 2.1 during the Offer Period they will be eligible to receive reward points on the terms and condition described below.
    3. Offer Period: March 01, 2023 (12:00:00 AM) to May 31st,2023 (11:59:59 PM).
    4. Qualified Customer: The Offer is applicable to all Standard Chartered account holder. NRE and NRO account holders with Standard Chartered will not be eligible for the Offer.
    5. Transaction:Transactions means merchant transaction or utility bill payment.
    6. Void Transaction:
      1. Transaction which is either unsuccessful or cancelled/rejected by the Bank; or
      2. Transactions which are followed up with partial or full reversals; or
      3. Transactions that are cancelled by the Client.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Do atleast Five (5) UPI merchant transaction or utility Bill payment and get 4000* reward points on transaction value of INR >=500.
      * Provided the Client maintains a balance as per MID(Most Important Document)
    2. Only select Client holding an existing savings account with the Bank are eligible for the Offer.To illustration:
      During the Offer Period, if a client does five (5) UPI transaction of >=INR500 (Rupees Five hundred only) at any merchant or does utility bill pay then the Client will be eligible to avail the Offer.
      * Provided the Client maintains a balance as per MID(Most Important Document)
    3. This Offer is available for Bank Clients, who have received the Offer communication from the Bank through Email, SMS, RM, Service Manager, Contact Centre, or banners on internet banking.
    4. Reward Points will be sent by the Bank to the Clients within 2 months from the end of the Offer Period. The Reward points will be posted in the debit card and can be redeemed through 360 reward portal.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in these terms and conditions, nor shall running this Offer be construed as an obligation on the Bank to continue the Offer up to the termination/expiry date.
    2. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    3. The Offer is non-transferable.
    4. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made for any reason whatsoever.
    5. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    6. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    7. By participating in this Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
    8. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the participants, shall be solely borne by the participants.
