Eligibility & Documents

Students

  • Age
    • 18 to 32 years old
  • Documents Required
    • Copy of NRIC/Passport
    • Copy of your Student ID (for applicants below 21 years old, pls provide with your parent’s or guardian’s signature)
    • Copy of your parent’s or guardian NRIC/Passport

Working adults

  • Age
    • 18 to 32 years old
  • Minimum Annual Income
    • $18,000 and above
  • Documents Required
    • Copy of NRIC/Passport
  • For salaried (any of the following):
    • Latest month computerised payslip
    • Latest 6 months CPF Contribution History Statement
    • Latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment + latest month computerised payslip/6 months CPF contribution
  • For self-employed
    • Copy of latest income tax notice of assessment (must be in business for a minimum of 2 years)
  • For commission earner (any one from below)
    • Latest 3 months payslip + Latest income tax notice of assessment
    • Latest 6 months CPF contribution history statement
    • Latest 3 months payslip
    • Copy of latest income tax notice of assessment ( For 100% commission earner)

Annual Fees S$32.70 (including 9% GST) from 1 January 2024

This annual fee is waived off for the first year.

Finance Charges Effective Interest Rate (“EIR”): 27.9% per annum (minimum). If payment is not made in full by the due date, finance charges will be calculated on a daily basis at 0.076% from the respective transaction dates for all transactions to the date the payment is received.
Cash Advance Your cash advance fee per transaction is 8% on the Cash Advance, subject to a minimum fee of $15 plus Finance Charges at 0.082% per day on the amount withdrawn from the date of the transaction until the date of full payment.
Late Payment Charges A late payment charge of S$100 will be charged if minimum payment due is not received by the due date.

Free Credit Report

If your credit card is newly approved and you wish to have a free credit report*, you may obtain it within 30 calendar days upon card approval via the credit bureau website  or at their registered office. You will need the following documents to obtain the free credit report:

  • Card carrier that comes with your credit card.
  • NRIC

  • $500.

  • We strongly urge you to make your payment by the “payment due date” stated in your monthly credit card statement. This is to ensure good credit behaviour and it helps you to manage your spending accordingly. We have multiple payment channels for you to make prompt payments—via cheques, Interbank GIRO, Standard Chartered online banking, cash deposit machines at Standard Chartered branches and over 450 AXS stations islandwide. If not, a late fee of $80 and interest rate charges of 25.9% per annum will be calculated on a daily basis at 0.071% from the respective transaction dates for all transactions to the date the payment is received.

  • Unfortunately you will not be able to hold both the MANHATTAN Card and a regular credit card. You are required to cancel your MANHATTAN Card before applying for a new credit card.

  • Yes, you can apply for a regular credit card with a higher credit limit if you are earning at least S$30,000 per annum.

  • You can make payment to your Standard Chartered Credit Card bills via immediate, future transfer or scheduled payment mode.

  • Yes, we strongly urge you to pay for your purchases in full each month! This ensures that you don’t overspend. We do not encourage you to pay only the minimum amount due (at 3% of the new balance or $50, whichever is greater) as there is an interest rate charge of 25.99% p.a. (or a daily interest rate of 0.071%) on the outstanding balance.
