Celebrating the power of ten
In 2013, we became the first international bank to establish a presence in all ten ASEAN countries.
To celebrate this coinciding with ten years of our Seeing is Believing initiative, we set ourselves a target of raising USD100,000 to help tackle avoidable blindness.
Joining forces to raise the funds
Teams across our ASEAN markets held events and took on challenges to raise funds and awareness for our global programme:
- A Silver Lining Carnival was set up to help the elderly in Singapore, to teach them basic computer skills
- A team of 8 cycled over 800km from Siem Reap to Vietiane
- Indonesia held Sport for Sight, which was XXX
- Vietnam held charity food fairs
We use education and sport to help transform the lives of girls in India, Nigeria, Jordan and China.
