Can I choose which data I want to share with Standard Chartered?
We will be retrieving the full set of relevant data fields from MyInfo. These data fields will be the same as those specified within Standard Chartered Bank online forms, and will only be transferred from MyInfo upon your consent.
Will Standard Chartered Bank be able to use my data for other purposes besides processing my application?

Will I be notified whenever Standard Chartered retrieves customer personal data from MyInfo?
Your consent is required at the point of transaction. You can also choose to be notified via SMS alerts whenever a digital banking service request to retrieve your profile data.
The data pre-filled by MyInfo in the application form is incorrect. How can I update the data?
Government-verified fields contain information that has been reasonably verified by the relevant Government agency or Statutory Board upon receipt.
It is your personal responsibility to ensure that all data contained in your Profile, submitted for purposes of any transaction are complete, accurate, true and correct.
Please contact the relevant Agency to update your Government-verified fields if they are incorrect. Alternatively, you can choose to open the account online without using MyInfo.
If there is any change in my information post account opening, will Standard Chartered Bank automatically update my records using MyInfo?
We can only receive data that you have consented to share at the point of transaction, and will not be notified of any subsequent changes. Should you wish to update your details subsequently, you can do so by visiting a branch or via
SC Online Banking. Alternatively, you can contact us at 1800 747 7000 (Personal Banking) or 1800 846 8000 (Priority Banking).
