What is Android Pay?

Android Pay is the simple and secure way to pay with your Android phone using the NFC (Near Field Communication) feature on your phone.

What devices support Android Pay?

NFC-enabled devices running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) or higher will support Android Pay. Indicative list below

What Standard Chartered Cards can I register on Android Pay?

All Standard Chartered Credit and Debit Cards (with the exception of corporate cards) can be registered on Android Pay.

How do I use Android Pay?

For in-stores: 1. Activate your device. 2. Hold the back of your device against the payment terminal. 3. Hear the beep or vibration to show your payment is done. For in-apps: Within apps, just look for the "Buy with Android Pay" button at check out.

How secure is Android Pay?

By creating a unique virtual account number for your payment information, your name and full card details are never shown in the app and never shared with the store. Google stores your payment information on secure servers and encrypts it with industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology. If your phone is ever lost or stolen, you can easily find, lock, and erase your phone using Android Device Manager.

What happens if my phone is lost or stolen?

Android Device Manager will help you find and erase your phone. Or, simply search "Find my phone" and Google will show you where it is on a map. Also, please call the Bank immediately to block the token which is set up on the device.
