Terms and Conditions for Online Credit Card Bill payment Offer

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer: The Offer means “Qualified Customer gets 500 (Five Hundred) reward points on paying their Standard Chartered credit card bill only via an Online Payment mode on the satisfaction of the conditions mentioned in clause 2 below. Payment via cheque/cash will not be eligible for the Offer”.
    3. Offer Period: The Offer Period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 20 November 2020 and shall extend upto 23:59 hours on 31 December 2020.
    4. Online Payment: Includes payment of credit card bills through NEFT/IBFT, online banking and SC Mobile, Visa credit card payment and bill desk payments. The decision of the Bank will be final in determining the qualifying online payment modes.
    5. Qualified Customer/s: The Offer is only applicable to a select set of resident Standard Chartered credit card holders. Bank’s credit card customers who have received the Offer communication from the Bank and who have successfully qualified for the reward points.
  1. Offer Details
    1. Qualified Customers have to pay their Standard Chartered credit card bill via any Online Payment mode during the Offer Period.
    2. Qualified Customer would be eligible for 500 (Five Hundred) reward points on fulfilment of the Offer eligibility criteria.
    3. Bill payment via cheque/cash will not be eligible for the Offer.
    4. In the event a cardholder has multiple credit cards, reward points will be posted at a customer level. In other words, the reward points will not be allotted per credit card and will be allotted at a customer level only.
    5. This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of the Bank.
    6. This Offer is not applicable on Standard Chartered Ultimate, Landmark Rewards, DigiSmart and Emirates credit cards.
  1. Communication of the Offer and Credit of Reward Points
    1. The offer will be communicated to Qualified Clients via SMS and/or e-mailers on their registered mobile numbers and e-mail addresses only.(ii) Reward points will be credited to the Qualified Customers card account within 90 days from the end of the Offer Period.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive Offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the Offer are available on the bank’s website(www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this Offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of termination/expiry of the Offer.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the Participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. By participating in the Offer, the Participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers.
    10. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.
