Terms and Conditions for Credit Card Offer : Dining

  1. Definitions
    Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India
    Offer: The offer means Qualified Customer will receive 5X reward points upto a maximum of 2000 reward points on spending a minimum amount of INR 1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) or more in a single transaction on dining with Standard Chartered credit card during th Offer Period. Details of the Offer mentioned in clause 2.
    Offer Period: The Offer is valid only from 00:00:01 hours on 20 April 2022 and shall extend up to 23:59:59 hours on 20 May 2022.

    Qualified Customer: The Offer is open to all Standard Chartered Credit Card holders who meet the eligibility criteria. NRE and NRO credit card holders are not eligible for this Offer.

  1. Offer Details
    2.1 Qualified Customers must transact using the Standard Chartered credit card for a minimum amount of INR 1,000/- (One thousand only) or more in a single transaction on dining category during the Offer Period.
    2.2 Qualified Customer would be eligible for 5X reward points upto a maximum of 2000 reward points on fulfilment of the Offer.
    2.3 In the event a cardholder has multiple credit cards, reward points will be posted at a customer level. In other words, the reward pints will not be allotted per credit card and will be allotted at a customer level only.

    2.4 This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of the Standard Chartered Bank.

    2.5 This Offer is not applicable on Standard Chartered Landmark Rewards, Emirates & Digismart credit cards.

    2.6 Transactions made using the credit card for cash withdrawals at ATM’s or any other category other than dining will not qualify to meet the spends criteria. Further, transaction which is either unsuccessful or cancelled/rejected by the Bank, transactions which are followed up with partial or full reversals or transactions that are cancelled by the card holder will not qualify to meet the spends criteria under the Offer.

    2.7 Qualified Customers will receive the reward points within 90 days to the card from the end of the Offer Period.

    2.8 The transaction categories for this Offer are dining/restaurant as identified by VISA and MasterCard.

    2.9 In event of a dispute to a MCC (Merchant category code), Bank will be guided by the classification defined by VISA & Mastercard for the eligible transactions.

  1. Communication of the offer
    The Offer will be communicated to customers through – SMS and/or e-mailer on their registered email address or mobile number only.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    4.1 This is an exclusive Offer provided by Standard Chartered Bank. All details regarding the Offer are available on the bank’s website(www.sc.com/in).

    4.2 The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this Offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of termination/expiry of the Offer.

    4.3 Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.

    4.4 The Offer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

    4.5 The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.

    4.6 All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.

    4.7 The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.

    4.8 In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.

    4.9 By participating in the Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers.

    4.10 Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.

    4.11 Any query regarding the Offer will be entertained till 90 days from the offer fulfilment date. Post such date, the Bank will not entertain any correspondence or communication regarding the Offer.
