Terms and Conditions – Cashback Offer

  1. Definitions
    1. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
    2. Offer: The Offer means Qualified Customers must make minimum 2 transactions using the new/renewed Bank credit card,  of INR 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) each during the Offer Period and get cashback of INR 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only), on satisfaction of the conditions mentioned in clause 2 below.
    3. Offer Period: Period commencing from 00:01 hours on 25-January-2021 and shall extend up to 23:59 hours on 28-February-2021.
    4. Qualified Customer/s: The Offer is available only to select set of Bank customers who have received the Offer communication from the Bank.
    5. Void Transactions – means any:
      1. transaction which is either unsuccessful or cancelled/rejected by the Bank; or
      2. transactions which are followed up with partial or full reversals; or
      3. transactions that are cancelled by the Qualified Customer.
  1. Offer Details
    1. To be eligible for cashback of INR 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) Qualified Customer:
      1. upon receiving the new/ renewed credit card, must transact using the credit card during the Offer Period for minimum two transactions of INR 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) each; and
    2. Transactions can be online or on a point of sale. ATM cash withdrawals will not qualify as a transaction under this Offer.
    3. Void Transactions shall not qualify for the Offer.
    4. Cashback mentioned in 2.1 will be credited to the credit card account of the Qualified Customer within 90 days from the end of the Offer Period.
  1. Communication of the Offer
    1. The Offer will be communicated to Qualified Customers through – emailers and/or SMS on their registered email address or mobile number only.
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. This is an exclusive Offer provided by the Bank. All details regarding the Offer are available on the Bank’s website(www.sc.com/in).
    2. The Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms applicable to this Offer. The Bank also reserves the right to modify, withdraw or discontinue the Offer without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Neither anything contained in the terms and conditions set out herein nor those forming part of the e-mailers or running this Offer shall be construed as an obligation on the part of the Bank to continue the Offer up to the date of expiry of the Offer.
    3. Participation in this Offer is entirely voluntary, and it is agreed and understood by the participants that participation shall be deemed to have been made on a voluntary basis.
    4. The Offer is non-transferable and cannot be clubbed with any other offer/promotion of Standard Chartered Bank, unless expressly permitted by the Bank.
    5. The Offer shall not be available wherever it is prohibited under law and/or cannot be made/continued for any reason whatsoever.
    6. All disputes under this Offer are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts/tribunals of Mumbai.
    7. The Bank shall not be obliged to make any public announcements of the results of the Offer.
    8. In all matters relating to this Offer, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding.
    9. By participating in the Offer, the participants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein and those forming part of the e-mailers and/or SMS.
    10. Any tax or other liabilities or charges payable to the government or any other statutory authority/body or any participating establishment, which may arise or accrue to the Qualified Customer, shall be solely borne by the Qualified Customer.
