How do I check my request status?

You may check the status by going to the 'Status’ tab under Help & Services on both Online Banking and Standard Chartered Mobile.

How long will the status of my service request(s) be displayed?

Your “Active” request(s) will be displayed till the status is updated to “Completed”. Your “Completed” request(s) will be displayed for 90 days.

Will I be alerted when the request is completed?

You will receive an SMS or email when the request is completed.

Am I able to cancel multiple cards in a single request?

Yes, you may cancel multiple cards in a single request.

Am I able to submit multiple requests?

Yes, you may submit multiple requests on different credit cards.

If I have a debit or credit balance for the card that I would like to cancel, am I able to submit the request?

You will be able to submit a card cancellation request for a card with credit balance. You should receive a call from the Bank to confirm your request for card cancellation and you will be advised on the handling of your credit balance accordingly. You will not be able to put through a card cancellation request for a card with debit balance. You will need to pay off your outstanding balances before submitting the cancellation request.

How long will it take for the request to be approved?

It will take up to 3 working days for the request to be completed.

How to request for a credit card cancellation?

STEP 1

Go to “Help & Services” in the Services tab located at the bottom right corner, and tap on ‘View All’

STEP 2

Under Card Management, select "Credit Card Cancellation".

STEP 3

Select your reason for cancelling the card.

STEP 4

Select the card(s) you wish to cancel.

STEP 5

Review the details.

STEP 6

Submit your request. We will send you an email and SMS when the request is completed.
