You may check the status by going to the ‘Status’ tab under Help & Services on both Online Banking and Standard Chartered Mobile.

Your “Active” request(s) will be displayed till the status is updated to “Completed”. Your “Completed” request(s) will be displayed for 90 days.

You will receive an SMS and email when the request is completed.

Yes, you may cancel multiple cards in a single request.

Yes, you may submit multiple requests on different credit cards.

You will be able to submit a card cancellation request for a card with credit balance. You should receive a call from the Bank to confirm your request for card cancellation and you will be advised on the handling of your credit balance accordingly.

You will not be able to put through a card cancellation request for a card with debit balance.  You will need to pay off your outstanding balances before submitting the cancellation request.

It will take up to 3 working days for the request to be completed.
