Annualized Percentage Rate (w.e.f. 1 May 2021): The monthly interest rate is annualized to arrive at the annualized percentage rate (APR).

Monthly interest rate of 3.75% pm is annualized to arrive at an APR of 45.00% for all Standard Chartered Credit Cards including Visa Infinite and Emirates World credit cards.

However, for all instant credit card variants, the monthly interest rate is 1.99% pm (APR of 23.88%).

Cash transactions will also attract an interest rate of 3.75% pm (APR of 45.00%).

ATM withdrawals: INR 100 for statement outstanding balance less than or equal to INR 500.

INR 350 for statement outstanding balance between INR 501 and INR 2,000.

INR 500 for statement outstanding balance between INR 2,001 and INR 4,000.

INR 700 for statement outstanding balance between INR 4,001 and INR 20,000.

INR 800 for statement outstanding balance greater than INR 20,000.

Priority Visa Infinite Credit Card FAQs

  • Subject to documents being complete and accurate, it should take approximately 9 days to get your credit card approved.

  • The minimum amount due every month shall be higher than the following:

    (a) 5% of statement outstanding or

    (b) Sum total of all installments billed, interest, fees, other charges, amount that is over limit and 1% of the principal or

    (c) INR 250

    In case you have an unpaid minimum amount due from the previous month, the same will be added to the minimum amount due for the current month (as calculated above).

  • All overseas transactions are levied with a 3.5% transaction fee.

    This includes charges paid out to Visa / Mastercard for converting overseas transactions into INR.

    Please note that the transactions at merchant establishments that are registered overseas even if the merchant is located in India attract a charge of 1% from Visa / Mastercard which is included as a part of the transaction amount in your statement.

  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be levied at the applicable rates in force on all taxable supplies with effect from 1 July 2017.

  • ₹ 0 for statement outstanding balance less than or equal to ₹ 100. ₹ 100 for statement outstanding balance between ₹ 101 and ₹ 500. ₹ 500 for statement outstanding balance between ₹ 501 and ₹ 5,000. ₹ 700 for statement outstanding balance between ₹ 5,001 and ₹ 10,000. ₹ 800 for statement outstanding balance between ₹ 10,000 and ₹ 25,000. ₹ 1200 for statement outstanding balance greater than ₹ 25,000.

    Example: In case there is an outstanding of ₹ 4,000 on your credit card and ₹ 15,000 in your Balance Transfer account and payment is not made by the Payment Due Date. There will be a Late Payment Charge of ₹ 500 in your credit card account and ₹ 800 on your Balance Transfer account. The example above is for illustrative purposes only. All cards and all instalment products such as Instabuy, Balance Transfer, Dial-a-Loan etc. will each attract Late Payment Charges if payment is not made by the Payment Due Date.

    1. Bill Desk

    2. NEFT / IBFT
      From your bank account directly to your card account by quoting the IFSC code SCBL0036001 and the address as MG Road, Mumbai.
    3. Visa money transfer
      In case of Visa franchisee credit cards, pay through your bank account using Visa money transfer.
      Fees for Visa money transfer may be levied by the initiating bank.
    4. Standard Chartered online banking
      Standard Chartered account holders can pay through an account transfer.
    5. NACH
      National Automated Clearing House facilitates standing instructions from your account to the credit card.
      This can be initiated by submitting an NACH form authorizing transfer of funds.
      This form needs to be attested by the bank from where the payment needs to be made.
      You are responsible for ensuring that the debit instruction is honored.
    6. Cheque / Draft payment
      Dropping a cheque or a draft in favour of your Standard Chartered bank card no. xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx (your 16 digit card number) into any of our cheque collection boxes.

      The cheque or draft should be complete in all respects. Any material alteration must be duly counter signed.
      Make your payments at least 3 days in advance of your payment due date to facilitate the timely credit of the funds into your card account. Note that your credit limit will only be increased by the amount you have repaid after our receipt of your funds. In case we do not receive payment by the payment due date, we reserve the right to levy interest and late payment charges. If you hold multiple cards or EMI accounts with us, please give us clear instructions on the allocation of payment to these various card accounts on the reverse of your cheques. If you are issuing separate cheques for each card account, then you should clearly specify not to allocate on the reverse of the cheque.In the absence of any specific information on this front, we will apply the funds first towards clearance of the minimum amount due in respect of all card accounts you hold with us.Thereafter, the excess payment will be allocated sequentially towards payment of the card account with highest balance.If any of your card account is overdue, we reserve the right to prioritize payments to overdue accounts first as per our internal policy.For cash payments, funds transfer and payment through online banking, individual payment should be made against each of the accounts.
    7. Cash
      Cash payments can only be deposited at our branches using teller facilities. INR 100 will be charged per payment transaction for card payment made by depositing cash at any Standard Chartered branch. The same will reflect in the next month’s statement.
  • Visa credit card payment allows you to transfer funds from our existing Standard Chartered account to any Visa credit card within India.

  • Yes, you can pay your Visa credit card bills using Visa credit card payment.

    Just enter the card number that you wish to make a payment in the beneficiary card details.

  • No, you cannot pay your Mastercard credit card bills using Visa credit card payment.

  • Funds are usually credited within 3-4 working days from the date of receipt of the request.

  • No , but  you need to be a registered user of online banking. There is no separate registration to use the Visa credit card payment service.

  • You only need to know the 16 digit credit card number of the beneficiary card.

  • Currently there are no charges levied on this service.

  • Yes, there is a Minimum Limit of INR 100/- and a Maximum Limit of INR 49,999/- per transfer. The per day Transaction Limit is INR 100,000.

  • No, once the transfer has been initiated neither can it be stopped nor can the beneficiary card details or transferred amount be changed.

  • No, only resident bank accounts can be used to transfer funds.

  • At the merchant site, enter your card details.

    You will then be directed to a Standard Chartered security page where you will be required to enter the OTP (One Time Password) that is sent to your registered mobile number and registered email ID.

    Enter the OTP and complete the transaction.

    Please note that the OTP will appear in lieu of the verified by Visa / Mastercard secure password.

  • In case you do not receive the OTP within 30 seconds, you can request for another OTP by pressing the “Resend OTP” number.

    If you do not receive the OTP after multiple attempts, please call our phone banking numbers to ensure your mobile number is registered with us.

  • The first year fee is INR 250 and the renewal fee (from 2nd year onwards) is also INR 250.

  • 100% cashback upto INR 500 is applicable on Restaurant spends in the first 90 days. Whereas, renewal fee to be reversed on spending INR 60,000 in the Year.

  • No, supplementary cards do not attract neither a first year fee nor a renewal fee. Joining offers are also not applicable to Supplementary Cards.

  • Credit card transactions with Merchant Category Code (MCC) 6513, 7349 are covered under Rental Payments.
    A Merchant Category Code (MCC) is a four-digit number assigned to a merchant/business by the merchant’s acquiring bank. These are defined by networks e.g. Visa, MasterCard.

  • A processing fee of 1% (plus taxes) would be applicable to all rental transactions. This fee will be over and above any charges applied by the merchant as communicated to the client at the time of transaction.
    For example – If you pay INR 20,000 on a third-party rent payment platform using your Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card, 1% of transaction amount i.e. INR 200 plus taxes will be charged as a processing fee

  • Processing fee on rental payments will be effective from April 02, 2023.

  • The processing fee will be levied by 15th of the next calendar month and will have a separate narration in the monthly statement.

    • The domestic lounge program under VISA provides you 4 domestic lounge accesses per calendar quarter using your Priority Visa Infinite Credit Card. This is complimentary for all cardholders.
    • The Priority Pass programme provides you with 2 international lounge visits per month, subject to the cardholder meeting the FUM* (Funds under Management) qualification criteria of INR 30 Lakh at an individual account level, and the respective primary and supplementary credit card being active in the calendar month of the usage. Please note that the card member will be liable to pay for each domestic lounge visit using Priority Pass, as per applicable charges.
