2Primary Cardmembers may only redeem 360° Rewards Points to offset insurance premiums for regular premium policies issued by Prudential Assurance Company Singapore Pte Ltd (“Prudential”) payable on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual payment cycle and such insurance policies exclude PruShield policies, single premium policies, recurring single premium policies, top up premiums policies, US Dollar policies and policies purchased under the CPF Investment Scheme and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (each an “Eligible Prudential Policy”,  collectively the “Eligible Prudential Policies”).

Fees & Charges

Annual FeesThe annual fee is waived off for the first year.

Thereafter, annual fee is S$196.20 (including 9% GST) from 1 January 2024.

Finance ChargesEffective Interest Rate ("EIR"): 27.9% per annum (minimum). If payment is not made in full by the due date, finance charges will be calculated on a daily basis at 0.076% from the respective transaction dates for all transactions to the date the payment is received.
Cash AdvanceYour cash advance fee per transaction is 8% on the Cash Advance, subject to a minimum fee of $15 plus Finance Charges at 0.082% per day on the amount withdrawn from the date of the transaction until the date of full payment.
Late Payment ChargesA late payment charge of S$100 will be charged if minimum payment due is not received by the due date.

Free Credit Report

 

If your credit card is newly approved and you wish to have a free credit report*, you may obtain it within 30 calendar days upon card approval via the credit bureau website or at their registered office. You will need the following documents to obtain the free credit report:

  • Card carrier that comes with your credit card
  • NRIC

Eligibility & Documents
 

EXCLUSIVE TO ASCEND BY PRUDENTIAL CUSTOMERS

  • The policyholder must be an Ascend by Prudential customer.
  • Age
    • At least 21 years old
  • Minimum Annual Income
    • Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents: S$30,000
    • Foreigners with Employment Passes: S$90,000
  • Employment Pass Holders
    • Foreigners must be holders of P1, P2 or Q type Singapore Employment Passes
    • Q Pass holders must have minimum one year validity remaining on their passes
    • Employment Pass must have at least 6 months’ validity

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

  • You will need:
    • Copy of NRIC (front and back) for Singaporean Citizens & PR
    • Copy of Passport and Employment Pass (with at least 6 months’ validity) for Foreigners
  • For salaried (any of the following):
    • Latest month computerised payslip
    • Latest 6 months CPF Transaction History Statement
    • Latest Income Tax Notice of Assessment + latest month computerised payslip/CPF Transaction History Statement
  • For self-employed
    • Copy of latest income tax notice of assessment (must be in business for a minimum of 2 years)
  • For commission earner (any one from below)
    • Latest 3 months payslip + Latest income tax notice of assessment
    • Latest 6 months CPF Transaction History Statement
    • Latest 3 months payslip
    • Copy of latest income tax notice of assessment ( For 100% commission earner)

FAQs

The policyholder must be an Ascend by Prudential customer to be eligible for the Prudential Visa Signature Card.

The new Card benefits will allow you to earn additional 3.5X  Rewards Points per S$1 spent in local currency on Qualifying Dining Transactions, and additional 8.5X Rewards Points per S$1 spent in foreign currency on Qualifying Foreign Currency Transactions. Such additional Rewards Points are subject to a cap of 50,000 Rewards Points per year.

No, you are not required to make any minimum spend amount to qualify for the new additional Rewards Points under the Promotion.

The Rewards cap of 50,000 Rewards Points is only applicable to the additional Rewards Points awarded on Qualifying Dining Transactions and Qualifying Foreign Currency Transactions.

This is in additional to the total rewards points earned for other qualifying spends which accords 1.5X rewards points for every S$1 (or its equivalent for spends that are not made in Singapore Dollars, where relevant) spent with the Prudential Visa Signature Card.

Additional Rewards Points are as follows:

1.For all Qualifying Dining Transactions, you will earn additional 3.5X Reward Points for every S$1 spent in Singapore Dollars; and

2.For every Qualifying Foreign Currency, you will earn additional 8.5X Reward Points for every S$1 spent in foreign currency (spends that are not made in Singapore Dollars).

The Rewards Cap of 50,000 Rewards Points applies to a full year from the approval date of your Prudential Visa Signature Credit Card and will be reset every anniversary of the approval date.

Yes. The Rewards Cap of 50,000 Rewards Points only applies to the additional Rewards Points awarded on Qualifying Dining Transactions and Qualifying Foreign Currency transactions. Once you reach the cap, you may continue to earn 1.5X Reward Point per S$1 (or its equivalent for spends that are not made in Singapore Dollars, where relevant) spent on the card on all eligible Prudential Card Transactions
