Looking to lower your credit limit to control your spending?

How to use the Other Requests feature to lower your credit limit ?

  • Go to “Help & Services” on SC Mobile by clicking on the side menu

  • Under “Service requests by category”, select “Other Banking Services” followed by “Other Request

  • Input the details in the text box:

    Credit limit decrease

    16-digit credit card number

    Your preferred credit limit

  • Upon submission, please keep a look out for messages in your secured mailbox as the T&Cs for your acceptance will be sent within 2-3 working days.

  • An email, push notification or SMS will be sent to your registered mobile/email with the bank

  • To access your secured mailbox, click on “Inbox” on the side menu

  • Click on “Secure Mail” to view messages from the Bank

  • Click on “Inbox” to view the terms related to your Credit Limit Decrease request.

  • To accept the terms, click on the button below to compose a message

  • Select the following dropdowns:

    To: Cards

    Category: Inquiry

    Input the following:

    Subject: Credit limit decrease

    Message: I acknowledge the terms and conditions. Please proceed with my credit limit decrease.

    Upon acceptance of the T&Cs, a SMS will be sent once your credit limit has been successfully reduced.
