The Dining Cashback 2022 Promotion (“Promotion”) is available from 28 January 2022 to 15 March 2022 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion is open to all principal cardholders of credit cards issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Bank”) (each a “Card”). Each principal cardholder of a Card shall be referred to as an “Eligible Cardholder”.To participate in the Promotion, an Eligible Cardholder must be a registered and valid user of the Standard Chartered Mobile Banking App (“SC Mobile App”) and have enabled the option to receive Push Notification (as defined below) on his/her mobile phone and SC Mobile. To successfully register for the Promotion, an Eligible Cardholder must register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period, by clicking on the ‘Register Now’ button found in a push notification (which is a service provided by Apple and Google for their respective mobile operating systems i.e. iOS and Android respectively, through which an iOS or Android mobile app can send a user (who has installed such mobile app) a notification) (“Push Notification”), with the Push Notification summarising the details of the Promotion (“Promotion Invitation”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion Invitation will only be broadcasted from 28 January 2022 onwards, and the frequency of such broadcast will be at the Bank’s determination. Upon clicking on the ‘Register Now button in the Promotion Invitation, all of the Eligible Cardholder’s validly existing Card(s) (i.e. not suspended, cancelled and/or terminated) which are in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by the Bank, will be registered for the Promotion (such successfully registered card(s) hereinafter referred to as a “Registered Card” and the cardholder of such Registered Card, a “Registered Cardholder”) immediately. For the purposes of the Promotion, “Eligible Dining Transactions” are retail transactions made to all merchants that have their main business activity classified as food and beverage outlets. This includes all transactions classified under Merchant Category Code (“MCC”): 5422, 5441, 5451, 4562, 5499, 5811, 5812, 5813, 5814 and 5921. For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Dining Transactions will include all in-store transactions and online transactions (such as food delivery). Promotion Mechanic #1 To qualify, Registered Cardholders must charge a single Eligible Dining Transaction to a Registered Card that: a) is of either an amount between S$100 and S$349.99 (inclusive of both amounts) (“Tier A amount”) or an amount S$350 and above (“Tier B amount”); b) has a transaction date falling within the Promotion Period; c) has been successfully posted to a Registered Card account during the Promotion Period; and d) is not an excluded transaction (each such transaction fulfilling all limbs of this clause hereinafter referred to as a “Dining Cashback Qualifying Transaction”). The first 20,000 Dining Cashback Qualifying Transactions charged which each fulfils a Tier A amount (a “Tier A Winning Transaction”) and the first 3,000 Dining Cashback Qualifying Transactions which each fulfils a Tier B amount (a “Tier B Winning Transaction”) will entitle the Registered Cardholders to receive a Push Notification through the SC Mobile App informing the Registered Cardholder of the cashback amount that he/she is eligible for (“Dining Cashback Push Notification”) when a Dining Cashback Qualifying Transaction is a Tier A Winning Transaction or Tier B Winning Transaction (collectively “Winning Transaction”). Each Registered Cardholder is eligible for 1 Dining Cashback Push Notification for every Winning Transaction made, subject to each Registered Cardholder receiving a maximum of 1 Dining Cashback Push Notification per day. If the Registered Cardholder makes more than 2 Winning Transactions in a day, the Registered Cardholder will only receive 1 Dining Cashback Push Notification which shall apply to the first Tier A Winning Transaction or Tier B Winning Transaction (whichever applicable) which occurred on the same day. Each Registered Cardholder will receive S$2 cashback for each successful Tier A Winning Transaction made, and S$6 cashback for each Tier B Winning Transaction made (“Cashback”). Promotion Mechanic #2 To qualify, Registered Cardholders must, during the Promotion Period, meet the minimum spend amount of S$1,500 in Eligible Dining Transaction(s), aggregated across his/her Registered Card(s) throughout the Promotion Period (“Minimum Spend”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Dining Transaction(s) must have a transaction date falling within the Promotion Period and is/are not an Excluded Transaction(s). If a Registered Cardholder is one of the first 1,000 Registered Cardholders to meet the Minimum Spend, based on transaction date of the Eligible Dining Transaction(s), then he/she will be entitled to a S$30 cashback (“Gift”). The Gift is limited to one (1) redemption per Registered Cardholder. All Cashback and/or Gift will be credited to the relevant Winning Cardholders’ Registered Card account by 30 April 2022.

      Excluded Transactions

      • Any retail transactions made at grocery stores, supermarkets, hotels and wedding banquet;
      • Any top-ups or payment of funds to any prepaid cards, prepaid accounts, digital wallets including but not limited to Grab or any other accounts as the Bank may specify from time to time
      • NETS purchases and ongoing instalment payments;
      • Any amount charged to the any of the Bank issued credit cards of the Registered Cardholder during the Promotion Period that is subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed; and
      • Balance owing on the Registered Cardholder’s credit card accounts from other months
