1. This Lazada.SG – Standard Chartered Credit Cards Acquisition (the “Promotion”) is available from 4 August to 30 September 2017 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period“), unless otherwise extended or otherwise terminated in accordance with these terms and conditions. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

     Eligibility

2. To qualify for this Promotion and stand a chance to receive the cashback or Lazada.SG Credits (defined in Clause 6) referred to in Clause 4 and 5 below:
   1. you must apply for the Standard Chartered Unlimited Cashback Credit Card ( “Eligible Card”) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”) as a principal cardholder (“Cardholder”);
   2. you must be the first 70 successful applicants on a first come first serve basis, to meet all the eligibility criteria as set out in this Clause 2;
   3. such application has to be via the Lazada.SG online communication channels (which, for the avoidance of doubt, are Lazada.SG’s eDM banners, Facebook posts, mobile app push notifications or online acquisition banners that link to sc.com/sg/unlimited and any other channels that the Bank determines in its sole discretion will allow you to qualify for this Promotion) (the “Lazada.SG online channels”);
   4. you must be a new Standard Chartered principal cardholder. In other words, you must not have any existing or previously cancelled credit cards in the last 12 months;
   5. Standard Chartered must receive your application for the Eligible Card within the Promotion Period. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Standard Chartered may continue to process any application received by Standard Chartered up to 14 calendar days after the end of the Promotion Period, and Standard Chartered shall retain the sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of these applications and/or allow the said applications for the purposes of this Promotion on a case-to-case basis, subject to these terms and conditions;
   6. your Eligible Card application must be approved by Standard Chartered, where such approval is final and unconditional;
   7. you must activate the Eligible Card within 30 days from the card approval date; and
   8. the Eligible Card account must, within six (6) months of the Eligible Card account opening date, be valid (i.e. the Eligible Card account must not be suspended, cancelled and/or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner as determined by Standard Chartered in its sole and absolute discretion.
3. If you:
   1. have an existing principal credit card with the Bank at the point of your application for the Eligible Card or previously cancelled credit card(s) with the Bank in the last 12 months from the date the Eligible Card is approved; and
   2. satisfy the eligibility criteria set out in all of Clauses 2(a), (e),(f), (g) and (h) above,

you will be eligible to receive up to S$20 cashback for each Eligible Card approved under the Promotion (subject to the cap on cashback below).

The maximum amount of cashback that you may receive for this Promotion is capped at S$138 (“Cashback Cap”). This Cashback Cap will include any cashback received under any and all other Credit Card Sign-up Promotions with the Bank. You will not be entitled to any further cashback under this Promotion if you have already reached the previous Cashback cap under any earlier Credit Card Sign-up Promotions, as determined by the Bank in its sole discretion, notwithstanding that such earlier Cashback cap may be lesser or greater than S$138.

The cashback you are entitled to receive under this Promotion will be credited to your principal Eligible Card account within 30 working days of the date of activation of your Eligible Card, subject to the Eligible Card being valid and in good standing. The cashback awarded under this Promotion must be utilised within six (6) months from the date of activation of your Eligible Card, failing which, any unused portion of the cashback may be forfeited. Transfer of cashback to another credit card account or withdrawal of cashback in the form of Cashier’s Order or any other means shall not be permitted.

4. Subject to these terms, if you satisfy all the eligibility criteria set out in Clause 2 above, you will be eligible to receive S$150 Lazada.SG credits (“Lazada.SG Credits”) on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last, subject to the terms contained herein.
5. Only applications for the Eligible Card received by the Bank via the Lazada.SG online channels will be eligible for this Promotion. For the avoidance of doubt:
   1. This means that only Cardholders who have clicked through from banners or communications owned by Lazada.SG, are led to the Bank’s Eligible Card sign-up page and who successfully submit the application for the Eligible Card on that sign-up page will be eligible for the Promotion (subject always to Clause 2); and
   2. if you have received the Eligible Card in conjunction with your application for a CashOne / Credit Card Instalment Loan or a Mortgage Loan under the Home Suite Bundle, you will not be eligible for the Lazada.SG Credits (as defined in Clause 6 below) or cashback under this Promotion.
6. If you are eligible for Lazada.SG Credits pursuant to Clause 4 above: the Lazada.SG Credits will be issued to you in the form of a voucher code which entitles you to a one time $150 off your next purchase. These Lazada.SG Credits can be used on the Lazada.SG website or the app. The steps you will need to follow when using these Lazada.SG Credits are as follows:
   1. Visit the website www.lazada.sg or download the app on your mobile phone;
   2. set up the Eligible Card as the default card for payment in the Lazada.SG website or mobile app; and
   3. enter the specific voucher code which the Bank will provide pursuant in this Clause 6 on the “Payments” page prior to finalising the purchase.
      1. The voucher code for the Lazada.SG Credits you are entitled to receive under this Promotion will be sent to you via SMS within 60 working days of the date of activation of your Eligible Card on your registered mobile number with the Bank. You are required to enter the promo code in the Lazada.SG website or mobile app and pay the purchase using the Eligible Card to claim the Lazada.SG Credits.
      2. You have to enter the voucher code and utilise the Lazada.SG Credits for a single purchase within 3 months from the date you receive the SMS from SCB. The promo code will expire after 3 months and you will not be able to claim any remaining Lazada.SG Credits.
      3. In the event that the full Lazada.SG credits are not utilised in one purchase, the Cardholder will be deemed to have forfeited any remaining amount.
      4. If the voucher code is utilised by any cardholder of the Bank on the Lazada.SG website or app in conjunction with a card other than the Eligible Card, the Bank reserves the right to charge the utilised cost of the ride taken via the voucher code to that said card.
      5. Any dispute relating to or arising from the use of the Lazada.SG website and app, and Lazada.SG Credits must be resolved directly with the relevant party (and not with the Bank).
7. In considerationof you participating in this Promotion and receiving the Lazada.SG Credits, the Bank reserves the right not to grant any waiver of the first year annual fee for the Eligible Card account, if you fail to charge a minimum of three (3) eligible retail transactions to the Eligible Card account within 60 days from the Eligible Card approval date. For the purposes of this Clause 7, the following transactions are not considered “eligible retail transactions”:
   1. balance transfers to the Eligible Card, cash advances from the Eligible Card, purchases via NETS and ongoing instalment payments;
   2. any fees and charges (including annual fees, interest charges, cheque processing fees, administrative fees, cash advance fees, finance charges and/or late payment charges and other miscellaneous fees and charges) charged to the Eligible Card;
   3. any amount charged to the Eligible Card that is subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed; and
   4. any payment for balance owing on the Eligible Card account from previous and/or other months.

General

8. Unless otherwise stated, this Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges or promotions.
9. Standard Chartered reserves the right to do any of the following without prior notice:
   1. terminate, withdraw, shorten or extend this Promotion at the Bank’s sole and absolute discretion, with or without prior notice or reason; and/or
   2. vary, modify, add or delete any of the terms of the Promotion.

You agree and consent to be bound by any such variation.

10. These Lazada.SG – Standard Chartered Credit Cards Acquisition Terms and Conditions are to be read in conjunction with our Customer Terms, Credit Card Terms and any other specific Product Terms that may be relevant in connection with this Promotion (“Other Terms”). In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
11. Standard Chartered is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of any transaction by any party, including acquiring merchants, merchant establishments or any telecommunication provider.
12. Standard Chartered makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the goods and services bought and accepts no liability for the services provided by any merchant or service provider. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the merchant or service provider.
13. Standard Chartered is not an agent of any merchant or service provider, or vice versa.
14. Standard Chartered reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, including your eligibility for this Promotion and/or to receive cashback under this Promotion. Standard Chartered’s determination of all matters relating to this Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained.
15. By applying for an Eligible Card pursuant to this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of your telephone number to contact you about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or multimedia messaging. Such consent will supersede any prior choices made by you. Such consent will also prevail even if you are registered or subsequently register your contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.
16. A person who is not a party to the Lazada.SG – Standard Chartered Credit Cards Acquisition Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of the Promotion Terms and Conditions
17. These Lazada.SG – Standard Chartered Credit Cards Acquisition Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
