      Shop to Win 2018 Promotion Terms and Conditions

      Eligibility

      1. The Shop to Win 2018 Promotion (“Promotion“) is available from 16 May to 15 July 2018 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period“). The Promotion is open to all eligible principal cardholders of Standard Chartered Credit Cards (“Cards“) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Bank”) (collectively, “Eligible Cardholders“). By participating in the Promotion, Eligible Cardholders agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
      1. The Promotion comprises of the following:
        1. The Spin The Wheel Promotion (“Spin The Wheel Promotion”);
        2. The Lucky Draw Promotion (“Lucky Draw Promotion”); and
        3. The Coffee on Us Promotion (“Coffee on Us Promotion”).
      2. Unless otherwise stated, the Promotion is not valid with other offers, discounts, rebates, vouchers, privileges or promotions. The Promotion is valid in conjunction with The Standard Chartered and Grab May to July 2018 Promotion (the terms and conditions of which can be found here), the Standard Chartered Caltex 2018 Promotion (the terms and conditions of which can be found here) and The Good Life® 2018 Promotion (the individual merchant and general terms and conditions of which can be found here).
      3. Eligible Cardholders whose Cards’ accounts have been suspended, cancelled or terminated for any reason during the Promotion Period and until 31 August 2018 are not eligible for the Promotion.

      Participation

      1. To participate in the Promotion, Eligible Cardholders must:
        1. successfully register their Card during the Registration Period (as defined in Clause 5(a)(ii) below):
          1. for the Spin The Wheel Promotion, the registration period is from 14 May to 13 July 2018 (both dates inclusive) (“Spin The Wheel Registration Period”). 2 calendar days from the time of registration is required for successful registration for the Spin The Wheel Promotion;
          2. for the Lucky Draw Promotion and the Coffee on Us Promotion, the registration period is from 14 May to 15 July 2018 (both dates inclusive) (“Lucky Draw and Coffee on Us Registration Period” and together with the Spin The Wheel Registration Period, the “Registration Period”);
        2. either by sending an SMS in the format set out in Clause 7 below (“SMS Registration“), or by registering online at our website as described in Clause 8 below (“Online Registration“) at sc.com/sg/spintowin (“Website“) (such successfully registered card hereinafter referred to as a “Registered Card”); and
        3. the Registered Card must be eligible for the Promotion (see Clause 4 above for eligibility requirements).
      1. The Promotion is limited to the first 100,000 registrations received by us via SMS Registration and/or Online Registration during the Registration Period. The Bank will not accept any:
        1. Attempts to register before and/or after the Registration Period;
        2. Registrations after the first 100,000 registrations; and
        3. Registrations that are not in the prescribed format (as set out at Clauses 7 and 8 below).

      All such registrations will be considered by the Bank to be invalid and/or void, and the Bank’s determination shall be final and conclusive.

      1. For SMS Registrations, all SMSes must be composed in the following format:”SC<space>16-digit Standard Chartered Credit Card number”
        (Example: SC 4509123456789000)The composed SMS must be sent to 77222.All SMS Registrations which are not in this prescribed format will not be accepted and will be considered by the Bank to be invalid and/or void, and the Bank’s determination shall be final and conclusive.
      1. For Online Registrations, Eligible Cardholders must register and submit the last 12 digits of their 16-digit Standard Chartered Credit Card number via the Website.
      2. An acknowledgement of successful registration will be sent to the mobile number which the Eligible Cardholder had used for his/her registration (in the case of SMS Registration) or reflected on the registration webpage (in the case of Online Registration).
      3. Eligible Cardholders need only register once by either SMS Registration or Online Registration within the Registration Period in respect of a Card.
      4. Subject to Clause 5 above in relation to the Spin The Wheel Registration Period, Eligible Cardholders may register their Cards anytime within the Registration Period. Eligible Cardholders may register multiple Cards for the Promotion subject to these terms and conditions. Eligible Cardholders need to register once for each Card by either SMS Registration or Online Registration.
      5. It is the Eligible Cardholder’s responsibility to ensure that the correct Card number, to which transactions are intended to be charged under the Promotion, is submitted in the SMS Registration or Online Registration. If an Eligible Cardholder, having successfully registered a particular Card number by SMS Registration or Online Registration, charges an amount to a different Card which has not been registered for the Promotion, such amount will not be considered as a Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transaction, Lucky Draw Qualifying Transaction or Qualifying Coffee Transaction as defined at Clause 15, Clause 27 and Clause 37 below respectively (collectively, “Qualifying Transactions”).
      6. The speed and reliability of service of the Eligible Cardholder’s internet and/or mobile connection is dependent solely on his/her respective internet and/or mobile service providers. The Bank is not responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any delay or failure in the transmission or receipt of any SMS Registration and Online Registration, or any failure to register resulting from the same. Eligible Cardholders shall be solely responsible for all fees and charges imposed by their service providers in the SMS Registration and/or the Online Registration (as the case may be).
      7. By registering for the Promotion and participating in the Promotion, the Eligible Cardholder consents to the use of his/her personal data for marketing purposes, including but not limited to the use of his/her telephone number to contact him/her about products and promotions offered by the Bank from time to time via telephone, SMS or multimedia messaging. Such consent will also prevail even if the Eligible Cardholders is registered or subsequently registers his/her contact information with the national Do Not Call Registry.

      Spin The Wheel Promotion – Promotion Mechanics

      1. To qualify for the Spin The Wheel Promotion, Eligible Cardholders must, during the Promotion Period, charge a single transaction to a Registered Card that:
        1. Is of an amount of $150 or more;
        2. Is on eligible retail purchases (which excludes the transactions set out in Clause 42 below);
        3. Has a transaction date falling within the Promotion Period; and
        4. Is also successfully posted to the Registered Card account during the Promotion Period, (each such transaction fulfilling all limbs of this Clause 15 hereinafter referred to as a “Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transaction”).
      1. The first 140,000 Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transactions (each a “Winning Transaction”) during the Promotion Period will be randomly assigned a unique URL sent via a SMS by an automated computerised system. A SMS containing this unique URL will be concurrently sent to the Eligible Cardholder’s registered mobile number with the Bank when such Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transaction is a Winning Transaction. This Promotion is limited to the first 140,000 Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transactions and SMSes will only be sent to the Eligible Cardholders of the first 140,000 Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transactions.
      1. For the purposes of the Spin The Wheel Promotion, amounts charged to the Registered Card before registration processing is completed will not be considered as Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transactions. The table below illustrates the corresponding dates Eligible Cardholders will qualify for depending on the respective days/times that their registrations are received by us:

        For registrations we receive between 14 May 2018 12:00am and 13 July 2018 11:59pm, there will be a 2 calendar day period for processing of your registration. For example, if an Eligible Cardholder registers his Card on 16 May 2018 (Wednesday), his registration will only take effect on 18 May 2018 (Friday).
        For registrations we receive after the end of the Spin The Wheel Registration Period i.e. after 13 July 2018 Not eligible for Spin The Wheel Promotion.
      1. Each Eligible Cardholder is eligible for 1 unique URL sent via 1 SMS with every Winning Transaction made.
        Scenarios Eligibility and Qualification
        Eligible Cardholder registered Credit Card A but spent on Credit Card B Eligible Cardholder will not be entitled to participate in the Spin The Wheel Promotion as Credit Card B has not been registered.
        Eligible Cardholder registered Credit Card C on 23 May 2018 and made 5 transactions of $150 each on the same day. Transactions made by the Eligible Cardholder will not be considered as Winning Transactions as registration for Credit Card C requires 2 days to take effect.
        Eligible Cardholder registered Credit Card C on 23 May 2018 and made 5 transactions of $150 each on 25 May 2018. Eligible Cardholder will be sent 5 unique URLs via SMS only if the 5 transactions are amongst the first 140,000 Spin The Wheel Promotion Qualifying Transactions.
      1. We reserve the right to determine at our sole and absolute discretion whether:
        1. a Card is to be or has been registered;
        2. Eligible Cardholders have met all the requirements of the Spin The Wheel Promotion; and
        3. charges made to the Registered Card qualify towards fulfilment of the Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transaction and/or Winning Transaction criteria for the purposes of the Spin The Wheel Promotion.

      Spin The Wheel Promotion – Prizes and Prizes Allocation

      1. Eligible Cardholder of each Winning Transaction (“Winning Cardholders”) will win one of the following prizes:
        1. $2 cashback
        2. $3 cashback
        3. $5 cashback
        4. $10 cashback
        5. $20 cashback
        6. $30 cashback
        7. $50 cashback
        8. $100 cashback

        (each a “Prize” and collectively, “Prizes”)

        For the avoidance of doubt, if an Eligible Cardholder does not receive one of the 140,000 Winning Transaction SMSes, he/she will not be entitled to any of the Prizes above.

      1. There will be a total of 140,000 Prizes available to be won for the duration of the Promotion, in the following quantities:

      The Spin The Wheel Promotion is subject and limited to the availability of the Prizes above.

      1. The Prizes allocated to the Winning Transactions will be chosen by our computer programme designed specifically for the purpose of the Promotion at 9 Changi Business Park Crescent, Standard Chartered Bank @ Changi 2, Singapore 486005. The computer programme will randomly allocate Prizes to Winning Transactions in real time when a Winning Transaction is made.
      2. The random selection and allocation of Prizes to the respective Winning Cardholders of the Winning Transactions will be verified by external auditors. We reserve the discretion to change any of the Prize allocation mechanics without giving prior notice or reason. We may appoint any party as we deem fit as an external auditor for the Prize allocation.
      3. The Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash or any other items.
      4. All cashback Prizes will be credited to the relevant Winning Cardholders’ Registered Card Account by 31 August 2018. SMSes will be sent to the relevant Winning Cardholder’s registered mobile number with the Bank to inform them that the Prize amount has been credited to their Registered Card. The details of the Prize amount will be reflected in the relevant Winning Cardholder’s next Statement of  Account.

      Lucky Draw Promotion

      1. Lucky Draw Spend Period” refers to the 2 periods set out in greater detail below:
        1. From 16 May 2018 to 15 June 2018 (both dates inclusive) (“First Period”); and
        2. From 16 June 2018 to 15 July 2018 (both dates inclusive) (“Second Period”).
      1. To qualify for the lucky draw pursuant to this Lucky Draw Promotion (“Lucky Draw”), the Eligible Cardholder must meet the minimum spend requirement of $6,000 (“Lucky Draw Minimum Spend”) in retail transactions based on transaction date (which excludes those transactions set out in Clause 42 below) on a Registered Card (“Lucky Draw Qualifying Transactions”) during the First Period, the Second Period or both the First Period and the Second Period.
      1. Eligible Cardholders who meet the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend on their Registered Card during the First Period, the Second Period or the First Period and the Second Period will be awarded with a maximum of one (1) chance per Lucky Draw Spend Period in which the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend was met to participate in the Lucky Draw Promotion and win the Lucky Draw Prizes (as defined in Clause 31 below. For the avoidance of doubt:
        1. an Eligible Cardholder will only earn one (1) chance to participate in the Lucky Draw if such Eligible Cardholder meets the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend on a single Registered Card in either the First Period or the Second Period; and
        2. an Eligible Cardholder can earn two (2) chances to participate in the Lucky Draw if such Eligible Cardholder meets the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend on a single Registered Card in both the First Period and the Second Period.
      1. In the event that multiple Cards have been registered by him/her, the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend will be determined based on the Registered Card with the highest spend amount. The Bank will not combine or consolidate spend amounts on different Cards for this Lucky Draw Promotion.

        No chances are awarded given that the Eligible Cardholder did not meet the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend criteria on a single Registered Card during the First Period.
        Eligible Cardholder registered 2 Cards (Card A and Card B) –

         

        Card A: Spent $6,000 in Lucky Draw Qualifying Transactions in the First Period.

         

        Card B: Spent $6,000 in Lucky Draw Qualifying Transactions in the First Period.

         

        A maximum of one (1) chance will be awarded during the First Period given that the Eligible Cardholder met the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend criteria during the First Period.
        Eligible Cardholder registered 1 Card (Card A) –

         

        Card A: Spent $5,000 in Lucky Draw Qualifying Transactions in the First Period.

         

        Card A: Spent $1,000 in Lucky Draw Qualifying Transactions in the Second Period.

         

        No chances are awarded given that the Eligible Cardholder did not meet the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend criteria on a single Registered Card during the First Period or the Second Period.
        Eligible Cardholder registered 1 Card (Card A) –

         

        Card A: Spent $6,000 in Lucky Draw Qualifying Transactions in the First Period.

         

        Card A: Spent $6,000 in Lucky Draw Qualifying Transactions in the Second Period.

         

        One (1) chance will be awarded for the First Period and one (1) chance will be awarded for the Second Period given that the Eligible Cardholder met the Lucky Draw Minimum Spend criteria in both the First Period and the Second Period.
      1. A total of fifty (50) $3,000 cashback prizes (the “Lucky Draw Prizes”) is available to be won in the Lucky Draw for each of the First Period and the Second Period.
      1. The Lucky Draw Prizes will be randomly selected by our computer programme designed specifically for the purpose of the Lucky Draw Promotion at 9 Changi Business Park Crescent, Standard Chartered Bank @ Changi 2, Singapore 486005. The Lucky Draw draw dates are as follows:

      1. The random selection and picking of winners of the Lucky Draw Prizes (the “Lucky Draw Winners”) for the Lucky Draw Promotion will be verified by external auditors. We reserve the discretion to change any of the Lucky Draw mechanics without giving prior notice or reason (and the Bank shall not be obliged to disclose its reason). We may appoint any party as we deem fit as an external auditor for the Lucky Draw Promotion.
      1. The Lucky Draw Winners for the First Period will be notified by the Bank on or before 31 July 2018 or on a date determined by the Bank at its sole and absolute discretion, by way of an SMS sent to the respective Winners’ mobile number last registered and/or updated with the Bank. Lucky Draw Prize for the First Period awarded under the Lucky Draw Promotion will be credited to the credit card account of the Registered Card by 31 July 2018.
      1. The Lucky Draw Winners for the Second Period will be notified by the Bank on or before 31 August 2018 or on a date determined by the Bank at its sole and absolute discretion, by way of an SMS sent to the respective Winners’ mobile number last registered and/or updated with the Bank. Lucky Draw Prize for the Second Period awarded under the Lucky Draw Promotion will be credited to the credit card account of the Registered Card by 31 August 2018.
      1. The Lucky Draw Prizes are on an “as is” basis; and each Lucky Draw Winner is limited to a maximum of one (1) Lucky Draw Prize for each Lucky Draw Spend Period. The Lucky Draw Prizes are non-transferable, non-assignable, non-exchangeable for cash or any other items.

      Coffee on Us Promotion

      1. A “Qualifying Coffee Transaction” is a dining transaction charged to the Registered Card made at dining establishments overseas in a currency that is not Singapore Dollars classified under the Merchant Category Codes (“MCC”) of overseas Hotels (3501-3786 and 7011), Restaurants and eating places (5811/5812), Fast Food Restaurants (5814) and Pubs & Bars (5813). For avoidance of doubt, purchases from bakeries, supermarkets and catering companies that are not under the MCCs stated above will not be considered as a Qualifying Coffee Transaction for this Promotion.
      1. To qualify for the Coffee on Us Promotion, the Eligible Cardholder must be within the first 10,000 cardholders to make a Qualifying Coffee Transaction within the Promotion Period and submit the last 12 digits of the credit card number of the Registered Card and country name where the Qualifying Coffee Transaction was made (“Transaction Details”), via  https://www.sc.com/sg/campaign/coffee/usage-redeem/
      1. Eligible Cardholders who successfully qualify for the Coffee on Us Promotion will receive $5 cashback (“Coffee Cashback”), regardless of the amount that was spent on the Qualifying Coffee Transaction.

        Even though $10 was spent in Qualifying Coffee Transaction, Eligible Cardholder will only receive the Coffee Cashback of $5.
        Eligible Cardholder registers 1 Card (Card A) and spent $2 in Qualifying Coffee Transaction during the Promotion Period.
        Cardholder is within the first 10,000 to submit his Transaction Details via https://www.sc.com/sg/campaign/coffee/usage-redeem/
        Even though $2 was spent in Qualifying Coffee Transaction, Eligible Cardholder will still receive the Coffee Cashback of $5.
      1. Each Eligible Cardholder is only eligible for one (1) Coffee Cashback under the Coffee on Us Promotion.
      2. Eligible Cardholders who have qualified to receive the Coffee Cashback will be notified by SMS no later than 31 August 2018. Coffee Cashback awarded under the Coffee on Us Promotion will be credited to the credit card account of the Registered Card by 31 August 2018.

      General

      1. The following transactions charged to a Registered Card will not be considered as a Spin The Wheel Qualifying Transaction, Lucky Draw Qualifying Transaction or Qualifying Coffee Transaction for purposes of the Spin The Wheel Promotion, Lucky Draw Promotion and Coffee on Us Promotion respectively:
        1. Insurance premiums, including premiums for investment-linked policies, charged to the Registered Card;
        2. Bill payments (Examples of bill payment merchants include but are not limited to Telecommunications and utilities providers such as Starhub, Singtel and M1, Singapore Power);
        3. Any payment via AXS network;
        4. Any payment via SAM network;
        5. Payments to government agencies which include but is not limited to Land Transport Authority, Housing Development Board, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Public Utilities Board, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority and the Ministry of Manpower;
        6. Income tax payments;
        7. EZ-Link cards transactions;
        8. Transit Link transactions;
        9. Any transactions pertaining to Merchant Category Codes 6211 (Security Brokers/Dealers) and 7995 (Gambling/Lotto);
        10. Funds transfers to the Registered Card, cash advances from the Registered Card, purchases via NETS and ongoing instalment payments;
        11. Any fees and charges (including annual fees, interest charges, cheque processing fees, administrative fees, cash advance fees, finance charges and/or late payment charges and other miscellaneous fees and charges) charged to the Registered Card;
        12. Any amount charged to the Registered Card during the Promotion Period that is subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed; and
        13. Balance owing on the Registered Card account from other months.
      1. For new retail transactions charged during the Promotion Period to a Registered Card which are successfully converted into monthly instalments:
        1. at the point of sale by tie up merchants, the monthly instalment amount (and not the total amount charged for that transaction); or
        2. at a later date by us, the total amount charged (and not the converted monthly instalment amount),

        will be considered to determine if the Eligible Cardholder has made a Qualifying Transaction, provided such transaction fulfils the requirements in Clause 42 above.

      1. For non-Singapore dollar Qualifying Transactions charged to the Registered Card, the transaction amount authorised in the Eligible Cardholder’s Registered Card account (which is inclusive of the exchange rate conversion but exclusive of the overseas transactions fees, if any) will be considered to determine if the Eligible Cardholder has made a Qualifying Transaction.
      2. All Qualifying Transactions must be charged to the Registered Card. We are not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of the transactions by any party including but not limited to acquiring merchants, merchant establishments, or any telecommunication provider.
      3. Qualifying Transactions charged to and posted to the card accounts of all supplementary cards linked to a Registered Card will be counted as a Qualifying Transaction made by the principal Eligible Cardholder on the relevant principal Registered Card for the purposes of the Promotion.
      4. The Bank reserves the right to determine at its sole and absolute discretion all matters arising out of or in connection with the Promotion. The Bank’s determination of all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and conclusive and no correspondence will be entertained
      5. The Bank reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions, modify or withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior notice or reason including terminating, shortening, extending or withdrawing the Promotion and/or substituting the Prize / Lucky Draw Prize / Coffee Cashback   with any other item (which may or may not be of equivalent or similar value), without prior notice or reason.
      6. In the event the Bank has determined that an Eligible Cardholder is not eligible to receive the Prize / Lucky Draw Prize / Coffee Cashback or to participate in the Promotion, or where the Bank has knowledge of subsequent events which would mean that the Eligible Cardholder would not have been entitled to redeem the Prize / Lucky Draw Prize / Coffee Cashback (including but not limited to where the charges used to meet the relevant minimum spend(s) were reversed or refunded), the Bank reserves the right to claw back the Prize / Lucky Draw Prize / Coffee Cashback or to deduct its value (or such other amount as it deems fit) from the Eligible Cardholder’s account(s) with the Bank.
      7. In the event of any inconsistency between the Promotion Terms and Conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Promotion Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
      8. Please read these terms and conditions together with our Customer Terms and Credit Card Terms and any other product terms that may be applicable in conjunction with the Promotion (collectively “Other Terms“). In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and the Other Terms, these terms prevail only to the extent of such inconsistency.
      9. A person who is not a party to these Promotion Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any of the Promotion Terms and Conditions.
      10. The Promotion Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
