The Amazing Cashback 2022 Promotion (“Promotion”) is available from 20 May 2022 to 31 July 2022 (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion is open to all principal cardholders of credit cards issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Bank”) (each a “Card”). Each principal cardholder of a Card shall be referred to as an “Eligible Cardholder”. The Promotion comprises the following of Charlie’s Carnival Promotion (“Charlie’s Carnival Promotion”) and Weekly Cashback Draw Promotion (“Weekly Cashback Draw Promotion”). To participate in the Promotion, an Eligible Cardholder must be a registered and valid user of the Standard Chartered Mobile Banking App (“SC Mobile”) and have enabled the option to receive Push Notification (as defined below) on his/her mobile phone and SC Mobile. To successfully register for the Promotion, an Eligible Cardholder must register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period, by clicking on the ‘Register Now’ button found in a push notification (which is a service provided by Apple and Google for their respective mobile operating systems i.e. iOS and Android respectively, through which an iOS or Android mobile app can send a user (who has installed such mobile app) a notification) (“Push Notification”), with the Push Notification summarising the details of the Promotion (“Promotion Invitation”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Promotion Invitation will only be broadcasted from 20 May 2022 onwards, and the frequency of such broadcast will be at the Bank’s determination. Upon clicking on the ‘Register Now’ button in the Promotion Invitation, all of the Eligible Cardholder’s validly existing Card(s) (i.e. not suspended, cancelled and/or terminated) which are in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner, as determined by the Bank, will be registered for the Promotion (such successfully registered card(s) hereinafter referred to as a “Registered Card” and the cardholder of such Registered Card, a “Registered Cardholder”) immediately. “Qualifying Transactions” are retail transactions that: a) have a transaction date falling within the Promotion Period; b) have been successfully posted to the Registered Card account by 30 September 2022; and c) are not excluded transactions (as set out at Clause 34 of the Amazing Cashback 2022 Promotion Terms and Conditions). To qualify for cashback (“Cashback”) under Charlie’s Carnival Promotion, the Registered Cardholder must, during the Promotion Period, meet at least one of the two (2) Tiers of spend amount(s) in Qualifying Transactions (“Spend Amounts”), aggregated across his/her Registered Card(s). Tier A- Get S$30 cashback with Spend Amounts of S$5,000-S$11,999.99, limited to the first 5,000 Registered Cardholders; and Tier B- Get S$100 cashback with Spend Amounts of S$12,000 and above, limited to the first 1,000 Registered Cardholders. If the Registered Cardholder is within the allocated number of qualifiers for either Tier (as determined by the transaction date and time of the Qualifying Transaction), then he/she will be entitled to the corresponding cashback amount. The maximum amount of Cashback that can be awarded to each Registered Cardholder pursuant to the Charlie’s Carnival Promotion is capped at S$100. All Cashback will be credited to the relevant Winning Cardholders’ Registered Card account by 30 September 2022. Under the Weekly Cashback Draw Promotion, “Weekly Draw Qualifying Transactions” are Qualifying Transactions that are charged to a Registered Card that have a transaction date falling within the respective Calendar Week (as set out in Clause 22 of the Amazing Cashback 2022 Promotion Terms and Conditions). For the avoidance of doubt, Qualifying Transactions charged to a Card before the registration for the Promotion is successfully completed will not be considered Weekly Draw Qualifying Transactions. To be entitled to participate in a Weekly Draw (as defined below) for a chance to receive up to S$200 cashback in each Calendar Week, the Registered Cardholders must meet a minimum spend amount of S$1,000 in Weekly Draw Qualifying Transaction(s), aggregated across his/her Registered Card(s) during each Calendar Week (“Weekly Spend Target”) within the Promotion Period. There will be a total of 10 weekly draws throughout the Promotion Period, where one (1) weekly draw will occur on the Draw Date of each of the 10 Calendar Weeks (“Weekly Draw”). The complete Weekly Draw schedule may be found at Clause 22 of the Amazing Cashback 2022 Promotion Terms and Conditions. There will be 800 prizes (“Prizes”) allocated for each Weekly Draw, with a total of 8,000 Prizes available to be won throughout the Promotion Period. The Promotion is subject and limited to the availability of the Prizes. Prizes that are not won by any cardholders in a prior Calendar Week, will roll over to the next Calendar Week. A Push Notification will be sent to the Registered Cardholders who have qualified for the Weekly Draw for the respective Calendar Week on the corresponding Draw Date, which will reveal the cashback amount that the Registered Cardholder has won. The Weekly Draw is not a sure-win, and Registered Cardholders may receive a Push Notification, but not receive any Prize and/or be awarded any cashback. The Prize is limited to one (1) win per Registered Cardholder per Calendar Week. The maximum amount of cashback that can be awarded to each Registered Cardholder pursuant to the Prize is capped at S$200 per week. The Prizes allocated to the Registered Cardholders will be randomly chosen by our computer programme designed specifically for the purpose of the Promotion at a designated office of the Bank. All Prizes will be credited to the relevant Winning Cardholders’ Registered Card account by 30 September 2022.

      Excluded Transactions

      • Insurance premiums, including premiums for investment-linked policies;
      • Any transactions or bill payments to telecommunications and utilities providers including but not limited to Starhub, Singtel, M1, and Singapore Power;
      • Any payment via AXS network;
      • Any payment via SAM network;
      • Payments to government agencies which include but are not limited to Land Transport Authority, Housing Development Board, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Public Utilities Board, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority and the Ministry of Manpower;
      • Income tax payments;
      • Any bill payment made using the SC EasyBill bill payment programme;
      • Any top-ups or payment of funds to any prepaid cards (with the exception of EZ-Reload), prepaid accounts, digital wallets including but not limited to Grab, Singtel Dash, WorldRemit Singapore, YouTrip or any other accounts as the Bank may specify from time to time
      • Any top-ups or payment of funds which are classified under Merchant Category Codes 6012 (Financial Institutions – Merchandise, Services, and Debt Repayment) and/or 6540 (or Non-Financial Institutions – Stored Value Card Purchase/Load);
      • EZ-Link cards transactions;
      • TransitLink transactions;
      • Any transactions pertaining to Merchant Category Codes 6211 (Security Brokers/Dealers), 7995 (Gambling/Lotto) and 6051 (Non-Financial Institutions – Foreign Currency, Non-Fiat Currency (for example: Cryptocurrency), Travelers Cheques, and Debt Repayment);
      • Balance transfers (or funds transfers), instalment loans and cash advances (including AnytimeCash), purchases via NETS and ongoing instalment payments (including EasyPay);
      • Any fees and charges (including annual fees, interest charges, cheque processing fees, administrative fees, cash advance fees, finance charges and/or late payment charges and other miscellaneous fees and charges) charged to any of the Bank issued credit cards of the Registered Cardholder;
      • Any amount charged to the any of the Bank issued credit cards of the Registered Cardholder during the Promotion Period that is subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed; and
      • Balance owing on the Registered Cardholder’s credit card accounts from other months.
