Recommendations on Username and Password
  • Consist of 8-16 letters and/or numbers and can be combination of lowercase or uppercase or both for Username and Password.
  • For better security, we highly recommend you to adopt 8-16 alpha-numeric character set consisting of both letters and numbers, lowercase and uppercase, e.g. IcneL9305.
  • Cannot consist special characters such as symbols or blank spaces.
  • Cannot use your Username as your Password.
  • Password must not contain 4 or more consecutive identical characters as part of your Password, e.g. “1234” or “abcd”, etc.
  • Password cannot contain 3 or more repeating characters, e.g. ‘111’, ‘aaa’, etc.
  • Password is case sensitive, e.g. IcneL9305.
  • Do not use easy to guess information as your Password, e.g. name or birthday of friends and relatives.
  • Do not use same Password that you use to access other services, e.g. ATM PIN, or Phone Banking TIN.
  • Always memorize your Password. Never reveal your Password to anyone (no bank staff will ever ask for your Password) and try not to write it down. If you cannot remember the Password, you should always disguise the Password and keep it in a safe place separate from where you keep your Username, your computer and bank account details.
  • Change your Password regularly.
